Clay made his way into the classroom beofre sitting down and getting his books out, he looked up as he noticed Jessica Davis come into the classroom
"Hey. Where the hell is Justin?" Jessica asked going over to Zach
"I dont know, Jess"
"You dont know?"
"Probably just skipping first, sleeping in" Zach shrugged
"Did he ride with you guys today?"
"No"
"So, where is he? Marcus?" she asked looking at him as he shrugged
"Did you see him last night?"
"yeah, yeah, he was at practice"
"Why wont he answer my calls or text?"
"Im sure he'll be there" Marcus spoke up looking at her
"Oh, you're sure. Thanks, Marcus"
"Mr. Porter wants to see me now. He left a call slip in my homeroom"
"Miss Davis. Dont you have a class to get to?" The teacher spoke up looking at her
"Tell him i need to talk to him. Now." she spoke before turning and looking at Clay
"What you listening to, Clay?"
"Miss Davis."
Dawn smiled seeing Clay in the hallways, she went to walk over to him but stopped as Sheri walked over to him
"Hey, Clay" Sheri smiled going over to Clay
"Oh. Hey, Sheri"
"How's everything?"
"Everything is everything" he sighed
"I saw you and Coach Patrick this morning. What a jerk, right?"
"Well, kind of. I.."
"You were looking for Justin?"
"Have you seen him?"
"No, but Jessica's a bit freaked because she's his cheer escort to the assembly, and she missed the morning run-through looking for him. This is her first event with the squad, and her roundoffs are a bit shaky, so..." Sheri explained as he nodded
"Well, that's worrisome. Yeah"
"Right. Why were you looking for him?"
"No reason. Just homework. This is me so.." he trailed off as they arrived at his locker
