I glanced between the boughs
Fluttering it's flashy wings
A butterfly flew
Far in the vast skies
Gaily flaunting it's surreal beauty
Resting on the leaves lush
For a jiffy, against the buds
Of poinciana , red
I had a glimpse of it again
Before it got lost
In the beautiful blooms of red.
