I couldn't help but smirk at her words

I couldn't help but smirk at her words. She wasn't going to need a helmet today.
"That's the only reason why you can't let me drop you?"
She nodded her head at me. Her eyes stared right into mine, she was so close to me that her perfume lingered around me. It was sweet and tempting. Very tempting.

"So, if that wasn't a problem, you'd let me drop you?"
She gave me another nod, and waited. The dilemma clear on her face. "Well, good then. You don't need a helmet to ride a car."
The stared at me in utter confusion as I stepped past her. "Let's go."
I could feel her gawk at me from behind. If she wanted, she could still say no.

But alas, I heard her footsteps follow behind. I resisted the urge to smile as I open the door for her. She slid in to her seat without looking up and I shut the door behind her. "I need to stop at the sweet shop on the way home."
She put her address in my gps before looking my way. "We're going to the Mandir tomorrow, so I need to get the sweets."
I didn't know she was religious.
"Do you believe in God?"

Her eyes found mine, "of course I do. He gives us hope and a purpose to live."
The way she said those words, the way her eyes lit up and the way she smiled made my heart beat faster.
"What else do you think about religion."
Her smile got bigger like it was her favourite question. "I think your faith is what gets you through your darkest days. At least that's what it was like for me. My Krishna was with me, and he's always with me."

Her eyes shone with such love, it was beautiful to see. "And I think He has a blessing out there for me, I just need to find it."
The more we talked about her Krishna, the more she glowed. Her eyes sparkled bright, her smile got wider. She was so beautiful, so serene, so perfect. It was like her spirituality was radiating off of her. It was such a magnificent view, and it made me curious. I wanted to know more about her thoughts.

She looked so at peace and I wanted that. The energy radiating off of her made me wonder how strong her faith was.
"Tell me which sweet shop to stop at, love."
She huffed at my words, looked away but I caught sight of her rolling her eyes.
"Love?"

Her eyes snapped in my direction, a pout in her lips. "Don't call me that."
"Call you what? Love? I call everyone that."
She huffed and sunk into the sear, "exactly. Don't call me what you call everyone."
A smirk formed on my lips as I try to look straight at the road. Her voice was sharp and straight to the point.
"You want a different nickname."

She looked straight ahead, but I could I could see her looking at me from the corner of her eye.
"Yes."
I have so many.
"Please."
Fucking adorable.

"Since we're friends. I'm higher in the hierarchy than random people you speak to and call love."
I hold back a chuckle as I nod my head. "Of course, you're higher in the hierarchy. You're more special than random people."
Her cheeks turned bright red and she mumbled a "yep."
I couldn't help but sigh, she was so stunning. A total sweetheart.
"How about Amorina? Suits you."

I told him to give me a different nickname! Why did I do that? And he came up with one

I told him to give me a different nickname! Why did I do that? And he came up with one. Just like that! He was so quick too, like he had one ready. Amorina.
"What language is that?"
He glanced my way, "Italian."
He was Italian? "You're Italian?"

He smiled, like a huge smile. "Only half."
I looked out the window, I was desperate to know what Amorina meant. But I was not going to ask. I'd google in when I get home. he parked outside the sweet shop and jumped out. I tried opening the door, but he left it locked. I was so confused until he came around and opened the door for me. So this guy was basically going to find a way to my heart? Like how do I not swoon over this?

I walked in, knowing exactly what I wanted.

"Ladoo!"How is this girl going to be excited over the sweetest and stickiest sweet out there? Out of all the things

"Ladoo!"
How is this girl going to be excited over the sweetest and stickiest sweet out there? Out of all the things. She seemed familiar with the store, even the cashier knew her. A young, male cashier.
"Of course, Aahu. Anything else?"
Of course, Aahu
I would roll my eyes if I could, he was practically drooling over miss sunshine here. As we waited, she made small talk with him, even lea ed over the counter to take a look at his phone. The urge to grab her and get her to stand straight grew with every passing second.

I almost sighed in relief when her package came out from the back and I was quick to lead her out.
" I'll see you at the Mandir tomorrow." His words irked me. Did they see each other often?
Fuck me. '

I dropped her home and said goodbye and as I drove back home, all I could think of was the fact that dropping her home added an extra thirty minutes to my own drive home. And the fact that although it was an inconvenience to my day but the only thing pissing me off is the fact the guy at the store was going to see her tomorrow and I wasn't. She did mention the Mandir she was going to be at tomorrow. But that was the last place I wanted to be.

I'll just see her on Monday. I'll be fine not seeing my Amorina until Monday.
