Chapter 9

Roxy and Foxy entered the beauty salon where a few visitors were already waiting for the beautiful wolf. The children looked at the fox and the wolf with their eyes shining happily.

Roxanne wagged her tail. "Welcome to my world famous glam rock beauty salon. Here we make children beautiful, presentable and socially acceptable." She said to the visitors and then looked lovingly at Foxy. The pirate fox smiled sheepishly. Oh Roxy, I wish I had the courage to confess my love to you.

The wolf gently nudged the fox. "You can help me make up the children and make them beautiful. I'll show you how it's done Foxy." she said to him. The pirate fox nodded. "Oh okay alright Roxy I'll do my best." he said back.

A blond girl with blue eyes stepped forward to the couple. "Can I put some bows and ribbons in Foxy's tail?" the little one asked the wolf and then looked the fox with a grin. Foxy's ears twitched. "Um..." he blushed slightly.

Roxy smiled. "Well I think some bows and ribbons would look really nice in your fluffy tail." she said to Foxy, laughing gently and winking. The pirate fox then nodded and said. "So um okay." The girl giggled cheerfully and took a box from a shelf that had lots of bows and ribbons in it.

"Hello Roxy." Another girl said and cheerfully went over to the beautiful wolf to hug her. The wolf smiled at the girl and her silver tail wagged. "Hello Cassie, it's nice to see you here. How are you?" Roxanne said.

"I'm fine." Cassie replied. Then she looked at the pirate fox. "Who is that? Do you have a crush on him? Is he your boyfriend?" she asked.
"Oh um no no. He is just a friend." said the wolf, blushing.
"Aha just a friend." Cassie giggled.

Foxy looked at Roxanne and Cassie with a smile while the blonde girl and five other girls put pink and purple bows and ribbons in his tail. Roxy is just so sweet, nice and adorable. The fox couldn't help himself and wagged his tail slightly so that a ribbon fell off. "Stop wagging your tail Foxy! The bows and ribbons are falling off!" said one of the girls. The fox twitched his left ear. "Oh s..sorry." Foxy stopped wagging his tail.

Roxanne turned to the pirate fox and gently pushed the girl a little closer to him. "Foxy, this is Cassie. Cassie, this is Foxy." she said. The girl and the fox smiled kindly at each other. "It's a pleasure to meet you." said the red pirate fox. "You're Roxy's biggest fan, aren't you?"
Cassie nodded. "Do you love Roxy? She's pretty." she said.

Roxanne and Foxy maintained eye contact then both looked away embarrassed. Why don't I have the courage to tell her how I fell about her?

"Um...Cassie you can do the makeup for one of the girls. You know how it's done." Roxanne then said to Cassie. Cassie nodded and walked with one of the girls to one of the barber chairs.

"Done. All the bows and ribbons are on Foxy's tail. He looks like a princess fox." The blonde girl said giggling. The other girls giggling too. Foxy's ears flattened in embarrassment. "That's not really suitable for a pirate." he said. Roxanne smiled lovingly at the fox and said in a soft voice. "I like it." Bows and ribbons look really good on him. "Come on Foxy let's put makeup on Sophie." she then said to him.

"Uh okay...and who is Sophie?" said the pirate fox. The blonde girl with blue eyes bounced up and down around Foxy and Roxy. "Me. I'm Sophie." said the little one. The fox smiled.

Roxanne and Foxy walked the girl to one of the barber chairs. Roxy brought an eyeshadow palette, nail polish, lipstick, a hairbrush and some bows.

"I want to look just like you Roxy. Beautiful." The blonde girl said, sitting down on the barber chair. Yes Roxy is beautiful. She is so beautiful. Foxy stared dreamily at Roxanne. Roxy giggled and patted the fox gently on the head. "Don't sleep with your eyes open again Foxy." she said. The red fox stopped staring dreamily at the beautiful wolf and nodded. "Let's begin." he said. Roxy smiled. He is the cutest pirate in the world.

Roxanne explained to Foxy exactly how to properly use makeup and how to put makeup on someone to make them look beautiful.

Foxy reached for the hairbrush at the same time as Roxy. Their hands touched and Foxy immediately froze in embarrassment. Roxanne's cheeks flushed. "Sorry." They both said at the same time.

The girl giggled. "It's totally obvious that you two love each other." said the little one. "I hope you two finally kiss."

Roxy's cheeks flushed more.

Come on Foxy, dare to tell her you love her, don't be such a cowardly pirate. But the pirate fox still didn't dare.

Roxy took the purple lipstick and applied it to the girl's lips. Foxy took the hairbrush and brushed the girl's blonde hair.

Then Gregory entered the beauty salon and waved to the pirate fox. Foxy waved back with a smile. Roxanne flattened her ears, growling, and glared at the boy. "Get lost!" she yelled at him. Why doesn't Roxy like him? Gregory is nice after all.

"I'm going, I'm going, you stupid attention-hungry wolf lady!" Gregory muttered, rolling his eyes, and left the beauty salon.

Roxanne and Foxy continued to put makeup on the girl. Foxy twitched his right ear. "Um Roxy why don't you like Gregory? He's nice." The pirate fox then asked carefully.

"Gregory?! Nice?! This brat isn't nice!" Roxanne replied growling. "Back then Gregory had destroyed me, Chica and Monty and stole our parts and Freddy let that happen and then he had just abandoned us for that damn kid! Then one day Freddy came back to the Pizzaplex with Gregory! I hate that boy!"

Oh, Freddy and Gregory didn't tell me anything about that. Then it was time for Foxy's shift in the Pirate Cove. "I...I have to go to the Pirate Cove now. See you later Roxy." Foxy said to her. Roxanne nodded. "Okay, see you later." she said back in a soft voice. The pirate fox quickly removed the bows and ribbons from his tail and then left the beauty salon.

Bonnie entered the beauty salon in a good mood. As soon as the rabbit entered the salon, two girls pounced on him, giggling, and tied bows on his long rabbit ears. Roxanne laughed.
