*Monroe's p.o.v*
I run my finger over the torn washed out photo. The last photo of Walker and I together.
*flashback*
"Hurry up Jack! Your gonna miss your plane!" Walkers excited voice calls out from the other side of the door. I sigh and stand up. Glancing around the room one last time. The walls are now bare, and all my stuff is already packed up and sent to New York. I can't believe that I'm finally leaving. I've dreamed of going to New York my entire life. Always telling walk of my dreams and ambitions of owning the best book stores in the country.
"I'm coming Walker, jeez. You would think you were the one leaving this place." I say with a chuckle. Swinging open the door to find a grinning fourteen-year-old boy. His eyes so much like our mothers it hurts, they always hold so many emotions. Such a light blue it's breathtaking. His cheeks are flushed with excitement and he's bouncing on his feet.
"I wish Jacks! Why won't you convince dad to let me come with you." He says, looking a little glum. I run my hand through his hair soothingly.
"Even I know that's a bad idea. You and I in a big city like that? Oh lord, give me strength." I joke. Trying to make him smile again.
"I guess your right... I still get to come to visit you though right?" He asks, pulling me out of my room and down the stairs.
"Of course walker! We'll see all the sights. Maybe even Holden could convince his grandma into letting him come along." I say, knowing that the old bat couldn't say no to the little boy.
"That would be so cool!" He says with a giggle. His eyes glistening with sadness. When we reach the living room I see my father sitting on the couch watching the news. He looks over and smiles at us.
"Hey, boys, are you ready to go Jackson?" he asks, putting down the remote and standing up.
"Yeah dad, everything is ready," I say, now becoming to realize that I'm actually leaving. I look down to walker and see the same look on his face. His lip trembles as he tries to smile at me.
"You'll have so much fun Jacks." He whispers. Nestling into my chest. I hear a sniffle and my shirt becomes to get wet with his tears.
"Sh, it's okay Walk. I'll call you whenever I can, and I'll send so many photos and souvenirs. The summer will be here in no time and you'll come down and see me." I whisper. My throat becoming tight with tears.
"I'm going to miss you." He sniffles looking up at me. I run my thumb under his eyes to sweep away the tears.
"Me too buddy, me too." I say, softly kissing his forehead. I hear the snap of a camera go off and I turn and see my father holding a Polaroid camera. He smiles tightly at me.
*end of flashback*
"Baby are you alright?" Kendall asks as he sits beside me. Running his hand down my back soothingly.
"Yeah, just caught in the past." I whisper. Tears still streaming down my face.
"Only one more day and he'll be back." He says, smiling at me. His eyes filled with worry and compassion. I lean towards him and peck his soft lips. Smiling against them.
"I know baby. I'm so scared." I whisper. Right now we are only boyfriends, I don't care that Doms never do this.
"Everything is going to be fine. You even said yesterday that he's been sending letters to you every month. He doesn't hate you baby." He whispers, pushing the hair out of my face.
"I know, but what if he comes and doesn't seem like my little brother anymore?" I whisper. Looking back down at the photo.
"He'll always be your little brother, no matter what. So get that idea out of your head. Now come on, you need a shower. You stink." He says jokingly, wrinkling up his button nose in mock disgust.
"Hey baby! I'm hurt, I don't stink!" I say, faking hurt. He just giggles and jumps away from me. Running to the bathroom. I just shake my head with a chuckle and follow him. I walk in to find him already adjusting the water. I walk over and pull his pants down.
"I'm not joining you." He says, his voice trying to sound strong.
"But-" I try. Pouting at him.
"No, there's too much to do. I have to prepare the guest room... Are you sure he doesn't mind the dark color scheme? It's kinda depressing Monroe." He says, shaking off my hands and walking over to the door.
"It'll be fine, he's not picky." I say reassuringly. All week my little love has been bustling around, making sure that everything was in order. He set up the guest room for walker and also the second one that's slightly smaller for Holden if he ever wanted to sleep over. He's such a sweet heart.
"Ugh fine. Go before I make you stay." I say, shooing him away with my hands. He giggles and runs out of the room after chucking a towel at me.

I've been pacing the terminal for what seems to be hours. Walkers flight has just touched down and I'm a mess of nerves.
"It's going to be fine Monroe calm down." Kendall says, watching me pace with an amused expression on his face.
"What if he never got on the flight? Or something happened and he's not coming home?" I worry. Running my hand through my messy hair. At some point it was perfect.
"Well then who is that who looks awfully a lot like walker making his way towards us?" Holden jokes. Pointing to a man who looks like a slightly smaller version of Me. His face is pulled into a bright smile as he jogs over, I couldn't help but notice the slight limp he has.
"Walker." I whisper, practically sprinting towards him. I pull him into my arms.
"Hi Jacks." He whispers into my shoulder. His voice now deep.
"I can't believe that your finally home." I whisper, tears running down my face. He looks at me and smiles.
"Well I am." He whispers. I repeatedly kiss him on the forehead, crushing him into my chest.
He looks sideways and his eyes light up. I slowly let him go, not wanting to at all but he wants to see his best friend.
"Holden." He says as he pulls the smaller boy into his arms. Holden try's to stay strong but tears escape his eyes.
"Hey there shorty." He whispers. I chuckle, the nickname no longer applies. Kendall's standing awkwardly to the side, rocking on his heels. I walk over to him and pull him into my side.
"Who's this?" Walker asks, breaking apart from Holden.
"I'm k-Kendall. " he whispers, holding his hand out for my brother to shake.
"Ahaha this is my boyfriend Walk." I say, looking down at the blushing boy.
"Damn, your my brother now then." Walker says, ignoring his hand and grabbing Kendall In a hug. Kenny squeals adorably before relaxing into the hug. I couldn't help but smile. Finally, my baby brother is home.
