A love for ones self is sometimes hard to get
Especially if you can't help but care about people's opinions
Your mind is undoubtedly set
After their toxic words of contradictions
A word of affirmation
Goes a long way
For someone without self-admiration
It makes their day
Too much self-love is seen as pride
It's extremely hard to hide
Unable to believe they have a bad side
Couldn't bring them down no matter how hard you tried
It might be hard to appreciate ones self
Especially when you can't just help but care
But always remember
No matter how perfect you get
There'll always be a hater
So appreciate who you are now
So you won't have to worry later
