Fire and Ice

Skaddi POV

Demetri was guiding me around the castle. Felix had been called on duty to the throne room. I was stunned by the beautiful ornaments, paintings and sculptures around the castle.

"What is Felix doing on duty?" I asked Demetri.
He seems to be surprised by that question.
"I'm the executioner of the coven" the loud voice from Felix boom behind us.

"Daddi" I smiled when I jumped in his arms.
"Hey little one" he smiled and kissed my forehead before he kissed my lips.
"What do you do as the executioner?"

"Well...." Felix seems to have a silent conversation with Demetri before he sights.
"If a vampire is bad and went against our law I will destroy them after they had a trial"
"You are like a special killer?"
"Yeah...?"
"Uuuhhh.....sexy" I wiggled with me eyebrows.

"On a mission I track those lawbreakers so he can destroy them. Just saying" Demetri teased.
"You are sexy too Daddy" I smiled brightly.

Demetri guided us closer to a giant training hall. Caius was sparring with himself while Santiago was training the higher Guard.

When Santiago was aware of Demetri and Felix entering he salute them while he loudly called "Prince Demetri, Captain of the Elite Guard, Leader of the Guard and Prince Felix are in the room".

"AND Princess Skaddi" Caius added with a low but deadly voice.
"She is the mate of my son and King Aro's son. That made her a princess" Caius hissed before he flexed his muscles.
Making Santiago shaking cover.

"I'm sorry your Majesty. I didn't mean to offense her" he squeaked.

"Santiago....be a dear and attack my mate" Demetri teased with a sadistic smile.

Santiago was racing towards me. The normal feeling of panic and fire wasn't rising inside me but I felt something chance inside me let it guid me. I took a deep breath, closed my eyes and when I opened them again Santiago was frozen. I concentrate on him and he turned deep blue, nearly purple while I froze him deeper and deeper.

"Good. Now, get him back" Caius instructed me. I looked puzzled.

"How?" I mumbled to myself.

"They call it fire AND ice. Not fire OR ice" the vampire King smirked.

So I concentrated on the known feeling and the fire was surrounding him, making him come back to the undead life.

When he moved again I recalled my powers to myself.
Santiago was looking like he wanted to freak out.

"Very good." Caius complimented me.
"Yes, very good girl" Demetri smirked proudly.

We repeated that training a lot at different speeds, distances and numbers of attackers.

"I'm hungry" I finally called out and the training was done for today.

"Take a shower and afterwards there will be food. And afterwards....we will take you shopping kitten" Demetri smiled mischievous.

I'm sorry guys. I lost my job today due to my disability and I'm soooo fucking down. But I didn't want to let you down too. So a small chapter will have to do it today.
