I decide to go out to the mall today. I didn't get Damien his gift yet. I've been thinking about it alot. What would he like? I don't know. Sometimes I think too hard about thi-

My thoughts get cut off.
"AH- WHAT THE FUCK?!" I scream.
"ehehehe, sorrryyyy..." he says back.
"damien.. really?" i look at him. i turn around to leave.

i turn around, to see damien, on the floor.
"are you.. okay?" i ask, slightly concerned.
"yeahhh.. hic."
"ARE YOU SERIOUSLY DRUNK RIGHT NOW?! ITS ONLY-" i checked the time. 9:48am.
"whhhy are you yeelllingg.."
I stared at him for a solid second.
"youre drunk."
"aaanddd?? hic."
"its 10 in the morning."
"oohhhh... sooorrrryyyy..."
I grabbed his arm and pulled him up onto my bed. i cant be that mad at him. hes kinda cute.. wait, no. i can't think that after what he did to me.. but.. he did apologize, many times. i cant hold it against him. we were kids.

"just.. get some rest, damien. you need it."

"...fine." i grabbed onto his hand, pushing him over. its weird though.. hes drunk.. but i dont smell alcohol on his breath..?
"..are you.. actually drunk..?"

I took a solid second to think.
"stay here, alright?"

i ran downstairs and searched through the drawer.
"fuck- where is it?!- AH!-"
i grab my hand. i had cut my finger on a blade. i grab some paper towels, covered my finger, and went back upstairs. damien was completely asleep. i couldnt help but look at him for a little. hes just.. adorable. i wish i could call him that. hed probably call me weird. whatever. i sat down next to him, ran my fingertips through his hair, and went out.
