A Necessary Evil (Long Overdue, Please Read It ALL!)

HAPPY NEW YEAR, it's 2016 y'all, make the best of it!

^^ This tells y'all how long ago I meant to post this, smh. Most of the parts in parenthesis are being added as I look at this today (4/14/2016).

This is the author's not that got away....I blame my 1st semester of sophomore year, the stress was too crucial y'all lawddddddddd. But I'm really working on coming back on Wattpad and being consistent with it. I appreciate the fact that people are still reading and voting and commenting and adding this to their libraries, it's crazy and motivates me to get back on the grind with my writing to continue giving y'all this story and much more. I will be hopefully adding another chapter of this or posting a prologue/first chapter of a story I'm working on SOON (probably summer, in May...after this semester is over. Y'all..once my junior year in college starts, at the end of August ayeee, there's no telling when these updates will come. I'll be honest. But I will NOT abandon this book, I refuse lol). No promises other than the promise to try my best (as far as updating).

Below is the original authors note I was talking about in the last chapter that was supposed to be posted right after I posted the last chapter but as y'all see it never happened (along with this authors note SMH) lmfaoo but here it is now, still as important as ever so keep reading!!!!

I was looking back on previous chapters and the comments from when I first introduced immortality to the story and it's amazing how many people thought this was some Twilight spin-off. Like...if y'all have gotten this far and STILL think that PLEASE inbox me so I can clarify the various ways this is nothing like Twilight lmfao.

But no, really, don't inbox me about that, I'm low key tired of seeing it. I've tried to be Miss Nice (and tolerant) Author but in all reality those comments get on my nerves, I'm trying to produce an original story line and there are still some people that compare Devilish to a story about sparkly vampires. Get it together. ASAP, no rocky lol.

I actually went through and deleted all negative comments so, for future reference those comments will continue to be deleted because...ain't nobody got time for that.

Another thing: Dominic's death. Now, listen closely dang it lmaoo. There's a method to my madness and that should be evident in the last chapter.

I know he's immortal and I know immortals don't die easily. This is my story, remember? *Drake voice*

I wanted the concept of immortality to be incorporated so I won't just disregard the unspoken "rules" of immortality as set by a lot of stories that incorporate immortality. I like to take notes from other stories with similar themes and build around them with my own twists and turns.

It may seem like it but I'm not crazy. As I tell everyone: "patience is a virtue". All will be revealed soon enough and hopefully y'all won't be as confused.

With that said: Thank you to all the dedicated readers of this story who stuck through the craziness (and unfortunate lack of updates as of late) and gave the immortality a chance. I hope y'all see the method to my madness and have become as invested in the characters as I have (probably not lol). I appreciate each and every one of y'all :')

This was added a while after the part above (so much I added and still I kept forgetting to post it, smh): I finally finished editing Devilish in it's entirety and small details have been changed so if at any point you get confused it might be best to reread. I'm not saying that to get my reads up, it's just a suggestion because any questions you might have about the details of the previous chapter and any further chapters will most likely have the answers to them in the edited chapters.

I'll remove the [Edited] side note on each Chapter after I post this next chapter (should have been done did this, smh). I'll also be unpublishing all Author's notes (besides this one of course) after I post the next chapter...(which is coming.....probably in May like I said earlier, possibly late April, no promises once again)

Now as y'all know all other works except this one have been unpublished and that's because Wattpad has been glitching, removing descriptions, not saving my editing, etc. so I've decided to focus on just Devilish and give it all of my attention so I won't have to worry about what Wattpad is doing with my other works.

I just unpublished though, I didn't delete them so it won't be a hassle to put them back up when the time is right.

But, for now, enjoy Devilish! (:

Unfortunately, Wattpad insists on continuously deleting my description for Devilish so should I make it an introductory chapter as well so new readers will be able to get a feel for the story just like returning readers were able to?

I doubt a lot of y'all will read through this whole little note because it's pretty long lol but, if you get down to here, write purple at the end of your comment! (hopefully your comments consist of responses to some of my questions or general commentary about what was stated in this note, I know it's lengthy but I put my heart in it dang it! lmaoo)

Oh! And do y'all want pictures (and/or bios) for how I view the characters? Or would y'all rather continue to use your imagination (besides Dominic, because he's the cover lol) let me know....
