A library café.
Two people.
And a novel.
Alora Klein had always wanted to be a Broadway performer. When she got the lead role as Christine Daaė in The Phantom of the Opera at her local theater, she was ecstatic. She had been a fan for as long as she could remember. To get more knowledge, she wanted to read the book. A trip to the library had her meeting one man who'd change everything. Jasper Laurent.
Jasper Laurent was new to London, England. He moved there from Paris after getting hired to become the scenic designer for The Phantom of the Opera at a local theatre. Fresh from a divorce after a 6 year marriage, he needed a change. He enjoyed the comfort that novels brought to him. Sometimes he needed an escape from reality. He found the perfect library to do just that. There he met Alora Klein. He thought she had the face of an angel. And when he saw her reading Le Fantome de L Opera, he felt drawn to her.
When they discovered they were both working for the same theater company, things changed for the both of them. Drastically. Life wasn't kind to either of them but maybe together, they'd find that things weren't as bad as they thought.
