i used to slouch,
bow my head,
bend my knees down to fit,
my feet were light on the ground,
i lift my head up to the sky,
i used to walk by their side,
i had this fear of being left behind,
to laugh at their jokes that kinda hit,
now's i stand straight,
stroll and accept how tall
and high i am to pass them by.
