CHAPTER 3
Risk it all

AS IF NOTHING COULD MAKE eve's day better, she woke up with a message on her phone. It seemed like the universe played the cards in her favour, usually having her phone on mute, today being a special occasion, the auburn haired girl being immediately alarmed by the notification.

"You see what I mean?" explained Sve hoping she could make the younger girl  understand the subject better so they could finally start the project.

"Yeah, i get it now" replied Gracie hoping they could finish all of this earlier, just wanting to talk, not caring anymore about history or her grades, Eve being the only thing on her mind "I think we should take a break, you know, so all of this information can settle in" joked the future singer.

"So what you wanna do if not studying?" asked the actress dropping the notebooks on the bed and leaning against the pillows.

"dont know, wanna play something?"asked the Abrams girl thinking about every possibility this could go, thoughts running in her mind like crazy.

"Sure, what'd you have in mind?" replied Eve getting intrested in the younger girl's offer.

"How about truth or dare?" said Gracie getting up and setting down right next to eve, school being long forgotten.

"damn, i thought you were gonna say seven minutes in heaven" flirted the older girl having no shame in what she just said

"Um, maybe later"said Gracie continuing to play eve's game.Getting hotter and hotter, her sweaty palms moving forward, touching her tutor's leg.The tension between the two girls could be seen by a mile, the intense eye contact being the first indicator they could be more than friends.

The air in the room grew thicker and thicker by the second, both of the girls remaining silent being afraid to disturb the deadly silence. Eve leaned in, with no processing thoughts in her mind, not even thinking about the consequences of her actions, the prize being greater than the aftermath.

But before she could actually kiss her, August, Gracie's younger brother, barged in with no warning, interrupting their moment.

"Gracie give me your charger, mine's not working" said the younger boy not even raising his head from his phone "What's going on? You know what, i'll just use dad's or something"added the Abrams boy looking at his sister and her friend's close proximity.

At the door closed, Eve moved away from the long haired girl and raised her voice" It's getting late, I should get going" added her getting up and gathering her things as fast as she could.

"Yeah, sure, see you at school" replied Gracie leading her to the door.

The Grant girl was put in a difficult situation, not knowing what she should do, risk a friendship or ruin something that never even began. If Gracie liked her and she never made a move on her, she would spent the next years cursing herself for that. She deeply wanted to know if what Dylan said was true, if Gracie liked her and she hoped that things between them wouldn't change, she had to find out and after spending the last few hours thinking about it, she made a decision.
