"Woohoo, we are finally about to learn who is the true winner of the 7th match is, Kirishima vs Tetsutetsu. Whoever prevails in this arm wrestling match, will advance to the second round! Let's go!" Mic yelled over the speaker.
"Kirishima is the winner, let's add him to the bracket" Midnight said.
"Kirishima has earned a spot in the second round!" Mic yelled out.
"Woohoo, way to go Kirishima" I cheered as me and Shoto were leaving the stands to head towards the back.
"Good luck Ellie" Mina said.
"Thanks" I said.
Me and Shoto went our separate ways so that the two of us can mentally prepare ourselves for our upcoming match.
My dad came in five minutes later to check up on me.
"Hey little mouse" my dad said.
"Hey dad" I said.
"How are you feeling going up against Shoto for the first time in years?" my dad said.
"A little nervous but I won't give up now since I made it this far" I said.
"That's the spirit little mouse" my dad said as I nodded my head.
<TIME SKIP A LITTLE>
I made my way into the arena just as Present Mic started the introductions.
"It's the first match of the second round. These two had won their respective matches in the sports festival. It is going to be a sibling rivalry! It's Ellie Todoroki vs Shoto Todoroki! But which Todoroki will advance to the next round!" Present Mic yelled.
Ready? Clash
I moved in first before Shoto uses his ice attack.
Shoto used his ice to attack and I managed to punch my way through using my fire powers.
"Woah, Ellie has managed to break through the other Todoroki's insane opening move" Mic announced over the speaker.
'My dad was right, Shoto is thinking that this is like a training match and he is going to win this match' I thought to myself.
At this rate, I'm going to be reaching my limit as Shoto kept on using his ice attacks. Unless I can figure out how to end this match really quick.
Shoto was shaking so that means he is about to reach his limit to his right side. He switched sides so that he can regulate the temperature by using his left side before he went in really close to try and attack me back.
"You want me to use my fire? Fine!" Shoto said.
Me and Shoto are using our powers at full strength. Midnight and Cementoss stepped in and a huge explosion went off, leaving the stage is covered in smoke. 'Who won?' I thought to myself. That's when Shoto was leaning against the wall, falling onto the ground.
"There, Todoroki is out of bounds. Todoroki wins, she advances to the third round" Midnight announced, swinging her whip.
