It's been a few months since the Chandalier incident and since they have last seen Mingyu,neither have any murder attempts towards Donghyuck and his baby happened apart from Donghyuck feeling like he is being watched in his own house.
Its been a week since Donghyuck has started going to work,it's either he is working in Taeils office or Taeil sends his files to Marks company and he works over there but overall he was still afraid,Mingyu could come back at anytime and harm his child.
Especially the fact that he is now five months,almost turning six and he is growing into a strong beautiful boy who has the biggest baby bump.Today he had an appointment with the gynecologist to see the progress of his baby,Mark had informed him that they would go after work.Jaemin had decided to tag along since he is now 3 months pregnant and Jeno is busy with meetings to take him.
He doesn't blame Jeno,he was Jenos secretary and it was his job to take care of the meetings but since he is pregnant and Jeno wouldn't want him to stress over work which could be bad for the baby,the work is doubled for Jeno so he barely comes home.Its either he is home by 1 or 2 in the morning or never comes at all.Jaemin had made it a routine to visit Jeno at night in the office because the boy literally lives in his office.
The two pregnant friends made their way to the office of the hospital.Mark following behind on a call with his business dealers.Donghyuck walked to the receptionist requesting for Dr.Kim.After checking their information,the receptionist made Mark wait on the couches as she led Jaemin and Donghyuck inside.The two walked in as Dr.Kim greeted and examined them.
The two came out with smiles,winking at each other.Mark looking at them confused.On the ride back Mark had been continuously asking Donghyuck if everything is alright.He was worried,what if something had happened.They dropped Jaemin off at Jeno's company,Jaemin making sure to whisper "I got the cake to be delivered at your house by the time you arrive" and they left for home.
"Baby,tell me what it is?"Mark groaned,starting to get abit annoyed,he was so worried.
"Nothing,I'm just happy to have a baby with you."Donghyuck smiled widely
"Thats not the answer I want!"Mark pouted,making Donghyuck giggle and peck his lips
"Then what?"Donghyuck questioned,smiling innocently
"What did the gynecologist say?? Is our baby alright??"Mark questioned
"Dont worry Markie,our baby is in good shape."Donghyuck giggled as Mark let out a sigh of relief.Before Mark could question more,the door bell rang,making Donghyuck giggle and open the door
"A package for Mr.Moon."The postman said,handing Donghyuck a box
"Thank you."Donghyuck smiled grabbing the box and signing before bidding the postman goodbye and locking the door
"What is that?"Mark questioned
"You will see!"Donghyuck squealed running to the kitchen
"Donghyuck! What?"Mark was so confused but he ran after the younger
"Markyyy Markkkk!!! It's here!!!"Donghyuck squealed jumping up and down after placing the box on the counter top
"Be careful idiot,you are gonna fall and you're carrying a baby!"Mark scolded,wrapping his arms around the excited males waist
"Wait...I need to open the box!"Donghyuck squealed,grabbing the scissors from the corner and successfully cutting the ribbons tied around it
"Is just me or does your stomach seem heavier than a normal pregnant person?"Mark questioned in confusion as he felt the youngers stomach all around
"You're about to find out why."The younger smiled as he pulled the ribbons,the sides of box opening up,mini confetti flying out as the cake was shown,clear enough for Mark to stare at the cake in shock
"Y-You."The older was speechless and was loss in words,he was shocked
"Congratulations daddy Mark,we're having twins and both are girls."Donghyuck smiled and immediately started laughing when he saw Mark crying
"Wait..damn! Am I crying??"Mark questioned,tears flowing down his cheeks
"Mark."Donghyuck giggled,pulling him into a kiss,he couldn't be more happier.
"I-I know this is too soon."Mark started off,wiping his tears but keeping the younger close to him,in his embrace, "but,will you marry me,I know the ring is not much but dad always had this ring for my future wife."Mark smiled pulling out a case from his pocket and opening it up,showing a simple silver ring with a simple diamond in the middle
"W-Were you preparing to propose today??"Donghyuck questioned
"Yeah,do you not like it?? Is too early?? Damn am I too much??"Mark was panicking but was pulled into a sweet kiss
"No its not,yes Mark,I will marry you!"The younger sniffled hugging him as Mark pulled away,putting the ring onto the youngers finger.
"Now it's my turn to see you cry."Donghyuck joked as Mark laughed pecking his lips.
The two cut the cake and spent hours,eating it and talking nonstop about their future and most importantly deciding names for their babies.
