Chapter 1

Anna was awarded by Meredith shaking her, she groaned rubbing her eyes

"Get up we're late" Meredith told her throwing a pillow at the man who was asleep on the floor waking him and urging him to leave. Anna rushed up to the the bathroom, ignoring the two as she hopped into her shower Meredith soon joining her

"No more okay?" Anna told her, soap rinsing off her body

"Yep no more" Meredith agreed, and leaned in for a kiss, Anna pulled away and got out of the shower grabbing a towel and wrapping it around herself. She headed to the bedroom sifting through Meredith clothes for something to wear

"Hey Mer, I gotta go, I uh, ill return the clothes" Anna told her

"No no it ok keep them"

Anna left the house, hopping into her car and she headed to her first day of work, as an intern at Seattle grace hospital, when she arrived interns were heading into the hospital and she followed them, knowing she wasn't too late. She looked around at the interns as saw a familiar face

"Cristina?"

"Anna? I thought you didn't graduate med-school until next year?"

"I um took extra classes in the summer, didn't want to wait another year"

"They let you do that?" Cristina ask incredulously

"Yeah I had full marks on everything and finished a course earlier, they couldn't really just say you gotta wait for everyone else to catch up"

"You don't say"

"And mom have you spoke to her recently?" Anna asked

"Oh god no, and you shouldn't either. She asking questions about getting married" The two sisters continued to talk for a while

The Chief walked up to the new inter and started talking to them just as Meredith walked in "each of you comes here today hopeful, wanting in on the game. A month ago you were in med-school being taught by doctors. Today..... you are the doctors. The seven years you spend her as a surgical resident will be the best a worst of your life. You will be pushed to the breaking point. Look around you,say hello to your competition. Eight of you will switch at an easier specialty, five of you will crack under the pressure, two of you will be asked to leave. This is your stating line this is your arena. How well you play....thats up to you"

They were led to a locker room where everyone changed into the uniform, and residents began calling their interns.

"Only six women out of twenty" Meredith spoke

"Yeah, I hear one of the in a model" Cristina replied "seriously, that's gonna help with the respect thing?"

"Yeah no kidding, Cristina meet Meredith. Meredith my sister" Anna introduced

"Meredith?... as in?"

"Yup"

"The you've-"

"Yes"

"And"

"Mhm"

"Oh wow, which resident are you assigned to? I got Bailey" Cristina ask

"The nazi? Me too" Meredith told

"Same" Anna said

"You got the nazi? So did I" a curly haired man spoke "at least we'll be tortured together! right? I'm George O'Malley, we met at the....um the mixer. You had a black dress on....with a slit in the side! Strappy sandals, and....." The tree women shared a look "....now you think I'm gay. No I'm not gay"
