Yuvika was exhausted, this sentence could be the biggest understatement of the year. Mentally and physically, she felt like she would pass out due to exhaustion. Mentally, because of her wedding and all the emotions she felt and physically— well, as I, your author, have already mentioned before, thanks to her heavy outfit and ornaments.

A knock on the wide open door broke her peaceful moment and she looked up to find Raeesha stepping into the room.

"Hey, bhabhi! All done?" Raeesha asked, adjusting the maang tika and dupatta on Yuvika's head.

Yuvika gave her a faint smile and nodded, putting her hands on her lap. Raeesha smiled sweetly at her, almost taking away all her exhaustion and stress.

"You look so worn out. I feel sorry for you, bhabhi!" Raeesha pouted sadly, knowing the fact that she can't help her bhabhi in any way, "But, don't worry! Just an hour or two more, and then you can take as much rest as you want. And I promise, no one is going to wake you up tomorrow; well, except for bhai." She winked at Yuvika, who went red in embarrassment, "you can sleep as much as you want."

"Thank you, Ray!" Yuvika chuckled, feeling a little relieved— because of Raeesha's mischievous nature or her confirmation for sleep, God knows.

"Now, come on and get up!" Raeesha pulled her bhabhi up, trying to cheer her, "we have a party to attend."

Yuvika nodded and followed Raeesha out of the room. The night went on with everybody enjoying the after party and the rare moments with the Agnihotri family and the newly wed couple.

"Ugh, finally!" Rudra groaned, craning his neck side to side as he plopped down on his bed, which was surprisingly empty, not decked up with any kind of decorations like he had expected. He was thankful though, no need to do the extra chore removing the decorative items.

He looked up to find Yuvika standing by the bed silently and frowned.

"What happened?" Rudraksh asked, looking at the bed, where she was lost looking at.

Yuvika was snapped out of her thoughts and she hesitantly looked at Rudra, now her husband, looking at her in confusion.

"Why are you looking at the bed like that?" He asked, "Is there any problem?"

Yuvika shook her head hastily, "No, No! There is nothing wrong with the bed. I just got lost in thoughts." She smiled, clearing her throat.

Rudra took a deep breath and nodded, "Are not you tired? Don't you want to sit down?"

"Yes, but I would change and take a shower before that. So— excuse me!" Yuvika excused herself and left towards the closet.

Her luggages and other things were already transferred to Rudraksh's closet, thanks to the thoughtful nature of her mother-in-law. With a little difficulty, she put it on the table and unzipped the bag. But instead of choosing a nightdress to wear, she got confused about what to wear since it will be the first time ever she'd be in front of Rudraksh, that too in her night clothes. Chemises and babydolls— She threw it back into the luggage as soon as picked it, shuddering at the thought of wearing it in front of Rudraksh.
