Sakuras POV

I stood across from Ino and she stared at me

Hayate:If you're both ready *cough* Begin!

Hayate-san jumped away and Ino dashed at me and threw a punch at me and I dodged it with ease and she glared at me

Ino:How did you dodge that
Sakura:Is that even a question? Your punch was so sloppy

I dashed at her and punched her in the gut and she spat and crashed backwards and she bounced on the ground and hit the wall and she tried to get up

Sakura: what's wrong,get up
Ino:Gah!W-why is your punch so strong
Sakura:Well unlike you I train

I kicked her face and she fell and I began to kick her in the stomach

Sakura's thoughts: Because of this bitch I was always bullied in school! Because of her multiple boys would insult and reject me!All because of her and the only person that protected me
was...Naruto-kun... that's right..Naruto was always there to protect and I never thanked him,he was the only boy that said that my forehead was beautiful..he was the only boy that truly loved me..

Ino spun and kicked my jaw and I stumbled backwards and she threw 2 kunais at me and I dodged them but I didn't know that they had an explosive tag attached to them and they exploded and I flew backwards with burn marks and Ino dashed at me and punched me but I used my arms to block it then I grabbed her arm and spun her around and threw her into a wall and I threw multiple shurikens at her and she ran to dodge them but a few still managed to cut her and I threw a smoke bomb at her and once it exploded I dashed into the smoke and punched her in the gut and kicked her out of the smoke and she hit the ground and I began to walk towards her and she threw two kunais at me buti dodged them and she stood up and kicked me in my stomach and I stumbled backwards and that was enough for her to flash through hand signs and shout

Ino:Mind transfer jutsu!
Sakura:Damn it!

Inos POV
I appeared in Sakuras mind

Ino:Heh,that little bitch thought she could beat me, I'll make her regret everything

Before I could take possession of her body a black figure appeared behind me and I turned around only to be punched in the gut by the figure

Inner Sakura:Get out of my Mind Cha!!

I was thrown out of Sakura's mind and I landed on the ground

Sakuras POV
Ino left my mind and before she could regain her senses I pointed a kunai at her neck

Ino:Ugh
Sakura:You lose Ino
Ino:Tch!
Hayate San walked to us and announced the winner

Hayate:The winner is Sakura Haruno

The medics took Ino away in case she was hurt and I went back to the audience Balcony and stood with team 7 and y/n and I shared a fist bump

Y/n:Good job Sakura chan
Naruto:Yeah,you were awesome out there Sakura-chan

Sakura:Thanks you two

Y/ns POV

The screen began to roll and the next candidates names popped up and I smirked

Ayumi Ritashi Vs Tenten of the leaf

Hayate:May the two candidates step down

Ayumi walked past me and I grabbed her hand and she looked at me

Ayumi:Y-y/n Kun?
Y/n: Good luck Ayumi-Chan.. let's both become chuunins

Ayumi nodded and I let go of her and she walked down to the arena

Sakura:Seems like you and ayumi-san are getting closer

Y/n:What do u mean?
Naruto:Heh nevermind big bro

I rested on the rails and watched as ayumi and Tenten faced each other and then I heard something that shocked me

Sakura:Naruto Kun
Naruto:Yeah?
Sakura:After this preliminaries, could we go on a date

She fiddled with her fingers and she was blushing,did she actually mean it

Naruto:Are you sure Sakura-chan?
Sakura:Yes
Naruto:Sure, let's go on a date sakura chan

Sakura:Heh
Y/n: I'm proud of you two

I patted their heads and Naruto was annoyed at that

Naruto: We're not kids y/n don't do that anymore

I gave them a cheeky grin and they smiled back and we all looked towards the battle

Hayate:If you're both ready then...begin!
