9. Will you marry me?

As the car came to a stop, we got inside the store to see our parents waiting for us

We wai'd at them

I kinda don't understand why they all need to be here today

I mean It's just the shopping for the engagement party not for the wedding

But then again they love to have a say in everything

"I'm glad you both came"

Said hia's mom smiling

I smiled at her in return

"Then we all should get going"

Said dad as they all started walking with us following them behind

Me & hia both went in different direction to find suitable suits

I look Through the different suits trying to find a good one

"Nunew"

I look behind to see my mom standing with two suits in her hand, one black and one blue

"Do you want to try it?"

She asked & handed me the black one

"I'd rather not khab"

"Then what about this? You will look good in it"

She asked about the blue one

"Umm no thanks. It's really old fashioned"

I said honestly

Her eyes face become red & her nose flared. She clutched on the clothes tightly, controlling herself

She didn't look happy with the answer

The scene in front of me feels so familiar

It reminds me of my early childhood

How she would get angry if I go against her

No matter what I did, be it good or bad she would always get angry, try to control everything I do

It used to scare me so much when I was a child

But now it doesn't anymore

"Then choose your own suit!"

She bursted out, unable to hold in anymore

I wonder why she even tried. She always had this anger issues & failed to control them every single time

I stayed quiet, standing my ground as she walked away angrily

I shrugged and start looking for suits again without caring about her

It's nothing new for her to act like that anyways

And I'm far too tired to care about her

"Did you find anything?"

Dad asked

"I'm still looking"

I said and continued looking as a suit caught my attention

"I think it looks great"

I pulled that suit out

It was a full white suit with buttons till the collar. Around the waist there is a belt kind of design

It looked simple but elegant

I went to the changing room to get changed

"You look great"

Dad commented as I came outside

I smiled

"I'll go show it to hia"
