Smiles (ii dark fic)

Dinner

Everything about this place was creepy the walls the floors especially smiles and frowns though I couldn't help but feel bad for frowns he was shaking bad and struggling to eat his food.I also couldn't help but feel bad for balloon he'd been being really paranoid and jumpy since we went into him and lightbulbs room.

I look over to him as he stares at his food not touching it, I knew he'd had troubles with eating in the past but whenever that happened he usually had suitcase or cheesy or maybe even nickel on the occasion there to comfort him and help him though it.

I nudge his leg knocking him out of his trance causing him to jump slightly and turn to look at me.

"You ok? You haven't eaten anything if you don't want to eat it I'm not gonna force you"I say in a calm tone just checking to make sure he's alright.

Balloon looks and me then back at his food and sighs " yea I'm ok just a little tense I guess this place is starting to freak me out a bit, and uh yea I'll eat some but I'm not really that hungry" he said straing at the plate of food again.

"If you'd rather share a room with me instead I could ask I'm sure lightbulb could handle yinyang... maybe" I say trying to give a feeling of comfort but then looking at lightbulb who was playing with her food and thought maybe that wasn't such a good idea.

"Oh no it's ok I'll share a room with lightbulb I don't mind plus I don't think leaving the two most chaotic people here for yin to deal with" he responded laughing slightly at the thought.

I nodded then continued to eat looking up at smiles, he hadn't eaten anything he was just watching as we ate he almost seemed sad? It was hard to tell since his face was stuck in a permanent smile. He stared at frowns who was trying to pick up his food with his one good hand his over had was twitching still soaked in the weird green substance,I think it's safe to assume that the green substance was there blood witch means they bleed green? Strange what even are they.

I continue to stare at frowns bandaged hand.it was pretty obvious that smiles had hurt him in some way,did he do that often? The thought of this made me uncomfortable I mean who could do that to there own brother over a glass of juice.

After a while we finally finished dinner me and lightbulb had eaten everything aswell as frowns,yin Yang had eaten most of the food since they spent most of the time arguing about wether or not they should eat there vegetables and balloon had eaten most of his food leaving small patches around the plate but smiles are nothing his plate was still full by the time dinner had ended.

Frowns stood up and carried all the plates out on one arm his injured arm laying slack down by him.he walked back into the kitchen and the rest of us just sat awkwardly around the table until smiles began to speak "well feel free to walk around the house but do NOT leave your rooms past 12:00 that is your one rule" smiles said in a threatening tone. We all nodded not wanting to make smiles even more mad.

Smiles left the room to go help frowns with the cleaning leaving us alone in the dining room.

"So do you guys want to go look around" as soon as I asked lightbulb  stood up beaming.

"Omga I've wanted to look around this place since we got here!" She immediately began jumping around excitedly.

Tye rest of us get up and follow her as she hops out of the room.the house was big really,really big some of the rooms didn't even have a purpose but one thing all the rooms had in common though they were brightly lit they had this sense of emptiness and abandonment, all the rooms had large amounts of burn damage over all the walls and floors, there must have been a fire here previously but I was surprised neither of them wanted to fix the holes where rain sprinkled in leaving a small puddle of water on the floor.

I pulled out my phone I should probably call paper to let him know where we were because I know he'd be worried, i clicked his icon and held my phone to my ear it ringed for a moment then went to voicemail dangit,well that didn't work but maybe I should turn on find my phone just to be save you know.

We walked around the house for a while longer trudging down the long hallways,I had to stop yinyang from destroying everything they came in contact with and lightbulb wasn't that much help either she kept wondering off in to different rooms and I'd have to go find her leaving poor balloon to deal with yinyang.

Eventually we returned to our rooms , we'd been walking for around an hour that and having to deal with yinyang and lightbulb left me completely exhausted, I dropped down onto the bed letting out a big sigh as I sunk into its fluffy blankets , yin Yang was next to me it looked like they'd already fallen asleep, I give in starting to drift into sweet unconsciousness.

Well the chapter ends there it might have been sloperly writ because most of this was written late at night.

This chapter had to be short so that the more important plot can be continued next chapter!
