Emma's apparition hovered right next to Norman and watched him grieve over her death. She watched as Norman cried in front of her tombstone

The grave was only two weeks old yet her Hanahaki flowers were growing all over the carefully carved stone

The grave was only two weeks old yet her Hanahaki flowers were growing all over the carefully carved stone. The girl got behind the tombstone and read the poem, that she'd written prior to her demise, on the back of the smooth headstone

To all my loved ones, I want you to acknowledge that I am there

Through the harsh winters and warm summer air.

You may not see me but I am by your side

To lead you through mourning, to be your guide.

And, though my death may cause suffering and strife

Remember that death is just a part of life.

My time came and I had to depart

But remind yourselves that I will remain in your hearts.

And like the seasons, I will never truly be doomed

For, like a flower, I'll eventually bloom

(wrote this at, like, 9 pm, its cringe lmao)

she looked back up and saw Norman asleep under the tree her grave was underneath, shivering in the rain, his sweater and jeans paired with worn out sneakers didn't provide much warmth in the autumn rain

"Oh, Norman.. You're so smart but so reckless at times.." She murmured as she cuddled up next to the albino boy, providing a shield from the cold rain "I miss talking to you and everyone else.." She whispered sadly and looked back up, seeing that Britney girl walk back up

"Norman! Wake up! You're gonna get sick if you sleep out here in the rain!" Britney yelled, jolting Norman awake

"Oh my god, Britney, can you please leave me alone!?" Norman yelled back, startling Emma. She never really heard him yell, especially around her

"Why though!? Can't you just get over her already!? She's dead! She's not coming back!" Britney screeched, kinda reminding Emma of a pterodactyl. She turned to Norman and, to her surprise, saw a look of uncontrollable rage and madness in his eyes. He stood up, approached Britney

And slapped her across the face. Hard

Emma literally gasped and sat in shock that Norman, of all people, would slap someone, especially that hard, making her stand up and instictually put her hand gently over his. The ghostly gingerette looked up and saw Norman looking at where she had put her hand with a shocked but warm look

"I'm going home" Norman looked at Britney and scoffed

"But you live three blocks away! My house is only a street over!" Britney said in her annoying, squeaky voice

"Shut up" Norman dismissed her, walking away "and don't follow me again, or I'll call the cops on you for stalking me" little did he know, someone did follow him, but it was the one person he wanted to take back home...

As soon as she entered, she realized how much her death had affected her first and only love. It was a complete mess. Very few bottles, empty, full and halfway, of antidepressants were strewn about. Books, clothes and obscure objects all over the place. Norman bent down and pet two familiar dogs. Her dogs. Her Samoyed, Creme, and her Chow chow, Blueberry. Norman got them for her six years ago so they were already used to him

"Hey, guys, still miss your mama..?" he asked sorrowfully, petting the sad dogs' heads "yeah.. Me too.."

"Norman..." Emma sighed. As soon as his name left her lips, both of the dogs perked up and looked directly at her, wagging their tails and doing that little smile dogs do

"Wha..? What're you doing? Nothing's there" Norman looked at the dogs and where Emma was standing. Emma would be lying if that didn't hurt her, just a little bit. The doggos barked excitedly at the girl's unknown presence

"Hi there, my babies... Did you miss me..?" Emma asked her dogs, kneeling down and petting them, having to only remember how soft and warm their fur felt. Tears fell down her face as she remembered how it felt to be seen

"Alright. C'mon, let's go. I need to go to sleep" Norman sighed, looking at the clock, which read 11:38. Emma phased through the ceiling and saw how messy the rest of the house was. She entered his room and saw him putting on a shirt, making her blush from embarrassment. She squealed and covered her eyes, turning even more red, only hesitantly looking after he got into his bed and fell asleep.

It was just like she remembered, except a little more depressing. She looked at him sadly and noticed a prescription on his desk. She walked up towards it and saw it said 'take one before bed, every night'

"Norman, why are you like this?" Emma walked up to a half empty bottle, somehow picked it up and put it next to the prescription
