To everyone who has been reading this story since it first came out, I'm sorry to say that I will be changing the course of the story and some of the new characters I've added, starting with Heron.
Recently, I've found Heron to be a bit of a bland character and she's become boring to write, so I will be replacing her with one of my favorite (and hopefully more exciting) OCs. The plot will mostly stay the same in somewhat compliance with canon, but with these new characters and changes, I will hopefully be more inclined to write more than I have been.
As for why I've not be updating recently, I've started a new job a month ago and I've been kinda run into the ground mentally. Hopefully, now that I've gotten into a rhythm with work, I can find more time to write and more headspace to run the story.
Sorry if you liked Heron from these first few chapters, I may add her back in again as a background character in future chapters, but for now, she's going to be replaced by Briar, who has an interesting history (and cringy beginning as an OC).
