"No one touches the killer but me", I said.
"We can't make any promises Mrs. Henson", Xander replied.
"And why not?"
"Because if he attacks, my men will automatically take him down."
"They can hold off."
He looked at Mr. Rhodes.
"Is she always like this?", he asked.
Mr. Rhodes nodded.
"Yeah."
Xander looked at me.
"I'm not telling my men to hold off."
"Then I'll just have to beat you to him then", I replied.
"With what strategy? Remember, you need us to get to him."
"I don't need anyone."
"Then why are you here?", he asked.
"I'm here to give you a heads up on whose game this is."
He scoffed.
"Whatever."
Mr. Rhodes sighed and called in his secretary.
The petite woman walked in the room as if she had been waiting for hours to enter
"Yes sir?"
"Give me a status report."
She looked at me.
"Well sir, the security cameras have certainly done their part. But, we were not able to see any signs of activity", she replied.
"Thank you."
She nodded and walked away.
"Wait", I said.
She stopped by my chair.
"Yes?"
"Where were the security cameras located?", I asked.
"Excuse me?"
"You said there were security cameras put up. Where were they?"
She looked at Mr. Rhodes then back at me.
"They were near the end of Eveleigh road", she replied.
"By the shell station?"
"Yes?"
"And you didn't see anything?"
"No", she replied.
I looked at her.
"Eveleigh is one of the busiest roads in this city. Thousands of people pass by it everyday."
"What are you trying to say?", she asked.
"I'm saying that your security cameras should've caught something."
She stood up straight and looked at Mr. Rhodes.
"Sir, I know she's a friend of yours but I refuse to stand here and be disrespected", she said.
Mr. Rhodes looked at Xander.
"If we want to take these goons down, then we have to get on the same page."
"You're right."
He nodded at his men.
"Mrs. Henson, we will give you the heads up you desire."
"Really?"
"Yes, but once we're on site, the fight is on", he replied.
"I can live with that."
He stood up and motioned for his men to follow him.
"Till we meet again Mr. Rhodes."
They shook hands and he left.
Mr. Rhodes walked up to his secretary.
"Why do you have to embarrass me?"
"What?"
"You deliberately disobeyed me", he replied.
"But sir she-"
"That's enough."
He looked at me.
"If you mess up again, I will have you removed from this operation", he continued.
"Yes sir."
"Now get out of my room."
She nodded and walked away.
Mr. Rhodes closed the door behind her and walked up to me with a devious smile on his face.
"Then there were two."
I laughed.
"I told you the bitch would fuck up."
He sat down next to me and looked me in the eyes.
"And I was a fool to not listen to you", he replied.
"I can't argue with that."
"I should make it up to you."
"How?"
He leaned in and kissed me. His lips were soft and he smelled amazing.
"Hmm...I like that."
I stroked his chest as he kissed my neck. The heat and passion was so immaculate I couldn't imagine what he would be like in bed. I slowly unbuttoned his pants. I couldn't wait to see what he was packing. Maybe a six inch? Or a giant monster? As he began nibbling on my breast, I grabbed his balls.
"It feels so big", I said.
"Why wonder, when you can test it out for yourself?"
He removed my shirt and unbuttoned my bra. I pulled him close and whispered in his ear.
"I guess you can say I like to fantasize."
He laughed and kissed my breast. I ran my fingers through his short silky hair. This guy wasn't the type to spend hundreds of dollars on hair products but rather by one product that was considered the best.
He was rocking a six pack and an eight inch penis.
As we dig deeper into our love, my phone rings.
"Shit."
"Who is it?", Mr. Rhodes asked.
I looked at the caller ID.
"It's Dr. Franklin."
I answered the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey, how did it go?", he asked.
"It went fine. I get a head start on the bastard that killed my father."
"Good."
"Yeah, I'm assuming everything went according to plan for you as well", I replied.
"Yes, my hitmen have already taken out Sean's insiders."
"Nice."
"Indeed, all I have left to do is take out Sean and I get my money", he replied.
"You do that then."
"I will."
"Goodbye Dr. Franklin."
"Goodbye Mrs. Henson", he replied.
I hung up the phone. As much as I loved playing this game with Mr. Rhodes, I knew I had to keep my mind focused on my goal.
"I have to go."
"Where?", Mr. Rhodes asked.
"Somewhere."
I picked up my bra and shirt.
"Then at least take this with you."
He kissed me with his soft lips.
I smiled and checked my watch.
"I'll be back Mr. Rhodes."
He laughed.
"Please, call me Jackson", he replied.
I nodded.
"Okay Jackson. I'll be back."
I caressed his face and grabbed my gun.
As I began to walk out the room I look back at him.
"And I'll be careful."
He smiled.
"Good."
I left the room and walked down the hallway. Everything was falling in place. And soon, my father's killer will be mine.
