Y/n eyed the brown haired boy. He sat on the steps to his front door, chin in his palm and loose chocolatey curls that twisted around on his forehead.
Most of the kids around didn't want to befriend the metal-mouthed dentists son. Y/n found the person under his extensive headgear alluring. He had no one else, he probably had so much to offer.
She moved without thinking, her feet took her where her mind wanted with no excess contemplation. And she stood over him for a moment. The boy glanced up. He cocked his head to the side.
"Hi." She said.
"Hullo." He returned.
Y/n plopped down next to him. "What's your name?"
He shook his head. "Uh, William. William Wonka"
They both stared out at their dingy, brick street.
"Nice to meet you, Willy. Wanna be friends?"
