Slimecicle was much more cautious after purgatory. Étoiles would normally say that it would be a good thing. But it seemed a bit too much.
He stayed more around the houses of his teammates, often sleeping over if he got the chance. If it was before purgatory Étoiles would be very happy about this. But now it just worried him.
Tonight Slime was staying with him due to Étoiles' insistence. When he finally was going to bed himself, Slime was awake. Which was very strange, for multiple reasons.
Slime always slept a lot, and Slime sleeps for at least 17 hours every time so what the hell was he doing up?
“Slime?”
Slime flinched before relaxing at the realization it was just Étoiles.
“What are you doing up?”
Slime hesitated in answering but eventually did, Étoiles waited.
“I had a nightmare.”
Oh. So that's why he was awake. Étoiles offered a hand to which Slime graciously took, Étoiles helping him up from where he was sitting on the floor.
“You can sleep in my bed if you'd like.”
Étoiles had heard that It helped from Philza.
“No it's fine I-”
“I insist. I don't mind.”
Slime's heart skipped a beat.
