The Ballad of Dreamers

Being a dreamer must be highly troublesome

Having to dream all alone

In your mind, you live invariably

Yet you call every place a home

An unending conviction for the whole

And you're told you're awfully curious

For someone who isn't meant to judge

While knowing their presumption is spurious

You've ever got a head to dream about

But not ever a head to dream about you

And when a day comes, and you're not 'round

They'll be remembered, not you who brought it to

A claim we express redundantly

While we express upon amiss

To be utterly mistaken

Is to be a dreamers premise
