The Dalmatians and Hunter were enjoying an evening watching TV. Suddenly, Hunter's cellphone rang.

"'Cuse me, everyone. I need to take this." Hunter left the living room, sat down on the stairs, and answered the phone. "Hello?"

"Hi Hunter! It's Mika!"

"Oh! Hey there! How've you been?!"

"I've been alright! How 'bout you?!"

"Same! So what do I owe the pleasure?!"

"Well, there's a new movie I've been wanting to see that's premiering tomorrow, and I was wondering if you would like to accompany me."

"Oh! You mean like a get-together of sorts?"

Mika giggled. "Yes, of course!"

"Oh! Well, I don't have any upcoming plans, so I guess I'm free to hangout!"

"Great! I'll see you tomorrow then!"

"Okay! Bye!"

"Bye!"

Hunter ended the call. When he went back to the living room, he was surprised to see that the Dalmatians were staring at him with amazed curiosity. "What?"

"Who was that?" Dolly said intriguingly.

"Who was what?"

"The person you were talking to?" Dylan also said intriguingly.

"It's not important. Just a friend."

"You've made a friend?!" said Da Vinci. "That's nice!"

"Is it anyone we know?" said DJ.

"No, you haven't met her," said Hunter.

The Dalmatians were immediately struck with excitement.

"Her?!" said Dylan.

"As in... A girl?!" said Dolly.

"A girl?!" said the pups.

Hunter sighed. "Yes."

"You met a girl?!" said Diesel.

"How come you didn't tell us about her?!" said Delgado.

"I only told Triple D," said Hunter.

The pups turned to Triple D.

"Well, unlike some people...!" said Destiny.

"We respect Hunter's privacy!" said Dallas.

"And we don't engage in gossip!" said Deja Vu.

"Is she pretty?!" Dizzy asked Hunter.

"I think so."

"What's her name?!" said Dee Dee.

"Mika."

"Ooooh! Mika!" said the pups.

"That's a lovely name for a girl!" said Da Vinci.

"I concur!" said Dawkins.

"Anyway," said Hunter, "she asked if I could hangout with her tomorrow, and I said yes. No big deal."

The pups gasped.

"What?"

"Dude!" said Dolly. "It's totally a big deal!"

"She basically just asked you to go out on a date with her!" said Dylan.

"A date?" said Hunter. "No, it's can't be. We haven't known each other that long."

"Believe me, dude!" said Dolly. "It's definitely a date!"

"Really? Well, I still think it's no big deal. It's just two people spending some time together. Shouldn't be too difficult."
