ISAAC'S POV
"THEY'RE GONE!" my brother screamed, beating me with a pillow which abruptly woke me up.
"what are you talking about?" i yawn, sitting up.
lee was in distress. he was frantically walking around our room, "avery and jackie."
"what the fuck are you on."
he sighs and grabs my wrist. i rubbed my eyes as we walked into their room. usually it was a mess, but for some reason it was tidy and clean. my eyes gazed to the bed where a familiar black leather jacket was folded neatly. on top of that was an envelope which had my name written on it.
"ill read it with you, bro." lee pats my back for reassurance as i rip open the envelope. inside was a letter.

dear ice,
you deserve an explanation, but i cant even give you one. i dont even know what's happening but all i know is that im gone now. ill come back, i promise. i dont know when, but i will.
since my first day here, i wanted to get to know you and even if we didnt get along in the beginning, these past couple months you helped me come out of my shell and learn things about myself that i didnt even know.
you helped me talk to you about my family and i was there to listen to you talk about yours. you saved me even when i was at my lowest.
im gonna miss seeing you every morning, arguing over the most stupidest things, driving with you even if we got in trouble, talking with you, etc. but most importantly (i guess) im gonna miss you.
i know for a fact your going to miss me even more so heres your leather jacket. i know it got ruined due to certain circumstances, so i was able to sew it back up, consider it a thank you gift. hopefully you will remember it's from me and you wear it just as much.
i feel bad that im even writing this, but just know that it wasnt you. i just need to be with jackie since i made a promise to always be by her side. thank you isaac so so much, you mean the absolute world to me even if we hate each other. (just kidding.)

and thats a wrap! (for season one ofc 😉) first off i just want to thank you guys for the endless support, love, and feedback i got when writing this book! its insane 😕💗
second, i WILL be making a sequel once season 2 of mlwtwb comes out! i would love to see how i can incorporate avery in the upcoming season and continue to write isaac's and her's story. (im praying that it doesnt get cancelled, but if it does ill still make another book!!! BECAUSE THEY ARE ENDGAME!) [context: they kissed but they werent dating yet. so hopefully in the next book they'll become a thing. #️⃣ slowburn at its finest]
lastly, im so sorry for making it end like this 😭 i didnt want it to end like this either but it didnt make sense for me to leave avery in colorado while her sister was upstate. BUT i pinky promise ill continue to write isaac and avery's story when season 2 comes out 😊💞✍️
