This is a robot human au. A bit more information is Alex use to be human but slowly turned into a robot.
TW: attempted assassination, being taken apart
Alex worked for a secret organization planning to overthrow the government and put robots in control. The organization didn't care for the robots they would send out and would often do terrible things to them if something went wrong. Alex had been taken apart and put back together several times. They were sent on a mission to assassinate addies father with the idea that they were going to assassinate all of the government officials and cause chaos. When Alex got into the manor and saw how he acted around his daughter and how loving and caring he was, they couldn't do it. When he had gone into his office that night they went in with the gun and handed it to him saying "I was sent to kill you but I couldn't do whatever you want with me but please don't make me go back there I'm not ready to die yet" he told them that they could work for him to figure out who was causing this uprising and to help around the house. They accepted and have been with addies family ever since then.
