for the lesbians realizing they might like men too

I’ve always liked girls

Girls with brown hair, blonde and red

Girls with greenish eyes, the books she read

I’ve always liked girls

I was proud to tell that everyone

But when you knew my heart just stopped

I’ve always liked girls

But when you walk my way my hearts skips beats

I knew you were special from the way you played your music

And I sure knew that I’d marry one 

But when you walked my way everything changed

But now I fall for your laugh

And your brown curls

Everything you do makes me smile

Even though I know you’ll never be mine
