Marinette's POV

"Nobody wants you here!"

"Yeah! You're a waste of space!"

"You're a bully!"

"Just die!"

"Why did you turn into a monster?!"

"How could you do this to her?!"

"I can't believe we were friends with you!"

All I could see was black. All I could feel was pain. All I could smell was blood. And all I could hear was those words.

I woke up sweaty, panting with my head and body hurting like a truck had just hit me..

What was that?! Why did I see this dream?! And the voices... they were so familiar. It looked so real, but it can't actually be...can it? Maybe what happened with Lila affected me too much.

I sighed and got up to get ready for school.

'What am I gonna do with them now? I wish Lila was in my school, too... I wouldn't be completely alone with them...'

As I was making my way for school, I saw Lila waiting at the entrance for someone, and I assumed that someone was me.

"Lila?"

"Hey Marinette!"

"Hey, what are you doing here?"

"Well, i couldn't leave you alone with them, could I?"

"Thank you so much. You're a life saver." I hugged her with a smile plastered on my face, but soon it disappeared as I looked over Chloe and Adrien, who were coming toward us.

I glanced coldly at them and hurried to leave with Lila.

"Come on, Lila." I dragged her away without even looking at them again.

"I- what's wrong with her?" Chloe furrowed her eyebrows.

"I don't know. And most importantly, why is she with Lila? What is she even doing in our school?"

"I have no clue. But it surely isn't for a good purpose." Chloe thought for a moment. "What if she lied to her about us and made her hate us?"

"Oh no! She's not going to get away with it this time! Let's tell the others!"

No one's POV

After having that said, Adrien and Chloe rushed to the classroom, where they noticed the worried look at their eyes of their classmates. Everyone looked worried except one person, and that was none other than Lila. Hardly anyone saw the wide smirk on her face because they had their eyes stuck on the two girls, Alya and Marinette, fighting for an unknown, to them, reason.

"I can't believe I trusted you! And there I thought we were true best friends!"

"We are, Marinette! You have to trust me on this one! I know I made mistakes, but not on purpose!"
