Panda shook his head, hugging her tightly

"I am glad, panda otouto..... But don't ever hesitate to tell me if I ever unintentionally hurt you, nee"
"Of course, nee-chan "
Mayumi gave him a few head pats before going back to reading her book

Mayumi sighed, looking up at the three second year students who were looking at her and her brother
"Our peace is ruined, panda. Let's go from here"
Mayumi said and started to reach her backpack only for Geto to stop him
"Please don't mind Satoru, Miss Mayumi. I apologize on his behalf. It's good to see you back."
Geto said with a smile, which Mayumi didn't return with her own but was polite to respond
"It's also good to see you back, Geto-san. How have you been? How is Haibara-kun?"
Geto raised an eyebrow, a smile playing on his lips

"I am well and so is Haibara"
Mayumi just nodded
"Hey! Is anyone gonna explain to me why this little girl is here? Who are you? And why is she talking to a panda?"
Shoko asked, which made everyone look at her
"Well this Yaga sensei's daughter, miss Mayumi. "
Shoko took a long swipe of her cigarette
"Hey there! I am shoko lieri. You're the one who healed Haibara, didn't you?"
Mayumi just nodded
"Well you did a great job. I doubt I could have done it any better"
Shoko said with a lazy grin
Mayumi on the other hand blankly stared at her for a moment before asking
"You're a student?"
Shoko blinked but nodded
"You're under 18?"
Shoko was a little baffled when the little girl asked her about her age at such a hard tone
"Oi! You told me it's disrespectful to ask a girl's age, now what are you doing you brat!?"
