45: Dead

Y/n stepped forward as Overhaul scoffed. "Look at me! You won't even be able to land one hit!"

The ground started to shake just as the ceiling caved in. Ryuko, with her quirk activated, came down with one of Overhaul's underlings. You glanced at them, still keeping your attention on Overhaul. Uravity and Floppy descended with the Dragon Hero.

"Uravity! Get Nighteye to safety!" Deku shouted as she whirled around, spotting his unconscious body on the ground. He raced for Eri, but Overhaul used a column under her to send her flying into the air.

"CHISAKI!"

Enraged, Deku chased after them. Y/n silently followed, staying in Overhaul's blind spot as he made another column under him to shoot into the air. He caught Eri and continued to rise to the opening.

Your eyes narrowed. He's planning on running, you thought. Your lips curled into a sadistic grin. I don't think so.

You glanced at Deku and opened your mind to his. Deku, get Eri away from him. Of course, he thought, a red color swirling in his mind. You looked ahead as you changed direction. He really is mad.

Y/n shifted into a crow and shot into the air, darting past boulders. You kept an eye on Deku as he reached a hand towards Eri. You glimpsed a red fabric in her hands. Lemillion's cape, you thought as Deku caught her.

Overhaul leaned over the column, reaching for the girl as he activated his quirk. "Give her back!" Cement whips shot towards Deku. He disappeared in a flash of green just as you shifted back.

"Guess someone forgot their real opponent!"

He whirled around, eyes wide as you kicked him into the wall. You landed on the column, your hair fluttering in the wind. Your eyes flashed red and f/c as glowing scales appeared. H/c hair started to fade into white as you drew on Signora's power.

So, you're going to use me? You smirked, don't say it like that. You heard her chuckle, whatever. Let's end this, and don't blame me if he dies. I won't.

You launched off the column, Overhaul barely reacting enough to raise his arms. You pivoted and brought your other leg down on his stomach, pushing him deeper into the wall.

"Don't tell me this is all you've got, Overhaul?" you mocked standing over him. He gritted his teeth as he slammed his hand on the wall. The cement pushed you off as he fled the spot, undoing the damage done to his body. He slammed his hand against the ground, and thousands of spikes shot from the floor.

Your body jerked as they embedded through your arms and legs. Overhaul paused as you went limp. He slowly walked a few steps closer. "Ha, to think it'd be this easy. I overestimated you, Adrelex," he said, scoffing. He turned around. "Now, to get Eri back."

"Who said It'd be easy?" He froze as you glared at him, ripping your arm free, blood gushing from the wound. "We've just started!" He slowly turned, shocked to see you moving. You punched his face, the impact sending a shockwave through the air. He grunted from the impact as he slammed into the ground head-first. It sent another shockwave, startling Ryuko.

She looked to the side, trying to pinpoint it. "What was that just now?"

Uravity shook her head as you grinned down at him, face bloody. "I'm not sure."

You raised your leg and slammed it down on him, causing Overhaul to scream in pain. A giant column appeared behind you. Y/n whispered something under her breath, and a crystal shield shattered it.

"You've got to try better than that," you said, grabbing his collar and lifting him into the air. You turned and threw him at the shield. It shattered on impact and turned into spears, following Overhaul.
