"Your mother is so nice!"
People say.
I tell them that they know nothing.
She is a vengeful monster.
They simply laugh
"You're probably just exagerating!" They add.
There is only one person, outside of my family, that knows the truth.
Because she has dealt with it too.
Not allowed to cry, she can barely contain it.
So nice on the outside, so friendly, you'd never know
something's amiss.
She looks so privledged.
Her house so nice.
But her truth is hidden deep down.
Covered in her heart,
Under ice.
