Not a lot changed unfortunately. Draegon still had his lessons and his training and sat in on council meetings more but otherwise, being the heir was just like being a prince.

"Can't you and Rhaenyra ever get along?" Gaena pondered.

"No." Draegon answered. "She starts it."

"And my man finishes it." Mattheo agreed. "It's not his fault granny Nyra is sensitive."  Alicent smiled when she caught Draegon's eye, he nodded to her and Mattheo elbowed him.

"You boys are too much." Gaena decided. "Didnt Davina teach you manors?"

"My mother taught me to be an unholy terror on the field and a gentleman everywhere else." Draegon remarked honestly. "But rhaenyra doesn't count in my gentleman-ness."

"I WANTED A COOKIE!" Millie shrieked out at an ear piercing level, making everyone flinch away.

"Teach Millie some pre supper manors." Draegon suggested. Gaena headed off reaching out for Millie.

"What the bloody hell is wrong?" Davina questioned hearing the shouts.

"This screaming monster is what is wrong." Otto answered, he pointed down to Davina's explosive angel.

"Monster?" Davina huffed. "And you let his man put his withered cock in you?" Otto turned red. "When he calls my angel a monster? FOR SHAME!"

"I just want a cookie." Millie whined. Draegon chuckled. Yep. He was heir and it was still the Millie show. Millie needed all the attention, but lets face it Draegon didnt need the spotlight on him. Millie was probably deprived of the spotlight with all the planning for Draegon's heir naming ceremony.

"Excuse me I need to go flirt." Draegon remarked seeing Alicent across the courtyard. Otto smiled at how easily Alicent got Draegon's attention. He stopped requesting her to see Viserys, even though he soon found out she wasnt even going, she kept missing him to see Draegon instead, no matter. It was working out well for them. Alicent could find love and have a crown, it would be picture perfect.

"No," Gaena chuckled leaning into Otto, he glanced down at her, wrapping an arm around her. "Otto is sweet, just distracted is all."

"I bet," Davina agreed. "And probably all tired out from what I'm assuming is the reason you have been requesting your daughter- Otto-" Davina cleared her throat. "Stay at the capital for so many sleep overs because you two are busy with... book... club?"  Gaena laughed out kissing Otto's cheek.

"Hey."

"Hi." Alicent answered.

"You look nice."

"Thanks." Alicent whispered.

"New dress?" Draegon pondered.

"Old dress." Alicent corrected. "One of my mothers."

"I'm sorry." Draegon used to be better at talking to girls.

"What for?" Alicent questioned.

"Well... you must miss her."

"I do sometimes but... its been a while."

"I can't imagine losing my mother, she puts herself in literally every situation I am in and hoovers over me like a octopus." Draegon remarked looking to Davina in the courtyard.

"What the fuck did you just call me?" Davina demanded. Alicent chuckled.

"I adore you mother."

"She's alright." Draegon agreed.

"You would be lost without her."

"Sorry, I'm being rude again."

"You are not being rude. My mother died when I was little." Alicent reminded him. "And now that my father has been seeing your aunt more and more, I feel like maybe I might get... a step mother in my future? It sounds crazy to think, even crazier to say but they really like each other."

"That's weird, is that weird for you?" Draegon questioned.

"It's weird seeing my father smile so much." Alicent admitted.

"Aunt Gaena has a way of making everyone smile." Draegon agreed. "I know uncle Viserys hopes she finds love, he doesn't want to have to worry about her."

"My father certainly adores her... I know you title hasn't changed but I feel like I should be calling you your grace." Alicent admitted.

"I'm just the heir, not the king. One day when I'm king... but not even then, you don't have to call me your grace." Draegon assured.

"I don't?" Alicent questioned softly. "Why not?"

"You are special." Draegon answered. Alicent blushed.

"I am?"

"Yeah, who knows, I might just make you my queen."
