Trapped in the heavy rubble, Shugo allowed himself to calm down, assessing what he should do.

"Alright, alright.... The other Shugods are too far away, and Kuwagon is on a rampage and wouldn't answer my call. That's... Bad, real bad!"

Clicking his tongue, he tried to move his arms as much as he could, but all it could do was little.

Short bursts could make him reach the Oh-ger Calibur's lever for a finisher to get him out of the rubble, he's going to be out of time before that happens.

So what now?

"I should manifest a Shugod Soul. Whatever soul is summoned I wouldn't care!" He decided, and he focused inward to himself.

"RIIIIISEEEEE~~~!!!!" Then he screamed in order to rouse his willpower.

Suddenly, something came out of his chest.

That something broke through and cleared the rubble that was being dogpiled on by parts of destroyed golems thrown in by a raging Kuwagon.

It was a beetle that was several meters in diameter, being coated in tough metal painted in gold all around its body. And it hovered around Shugo.

"Phew.... That was.... Close..." Shugo said, walking out of the destroyed rubble in order to catch his second wind.

There wasn't even time to rest as he glanced at God Heracles.

"Hey, turn into an axe and let me wield you!" He yelled out, walking towards the army of golems and insects that were being slaughtered by Kuwagon.

G-Heracles, under that command, became a large axe by opening its wings and became small enough to be wielded by Shugo.

"Alright, let's end this quickly."

After saying that, he yelled at Kuwagon to stop, to which the mechanical beetle acknowledged. Even by its movements, it felt quite relieved.

As if it had been snapped out of its berserk state, it flew to the top of a three-story building and cried out loudly.

Shugo smiled at the sight of this. Now, he walked towards the growing hordes of monsters and sighed.

'.... I'm weak, am I? At this point, without my armor, I'm just as weak as a B-ranked hunter.'

'.... That doesn't matter. I'll just grow stronger than ever along with my Shugods.'

Regaining confidence, he pulled the red lever from the Oh-ger Calibur, holding it for a while until he heard the signal, before pulling the same lever thrice.

His sword is now glowing bright, indicating that he must swing it down.

So he did, sending not a crystallized manifestation of Kuwagon, but a bright, multicolored, deadly beam that ripped through several tens of insects and several golems.
