Despite that Drew can't speak, he has a way with words through his writing. He finds writing a way to express his emotions and thoughts by showing instead of telling. For a 15 year old, he managed to have many of his stories published and became a popular well know author especially in the romance genre. He even spends time to write fanfiction about actual people that he secretly ships. While he can be anxious at times, he is a happy boy who wants to make new friends when arriving at camp.
