Personality: James is a very timid and shy but curious and imaginative young boy who loves music from an early age and wishes to follow his heart by playing his very own violin. Because of this, he looks up to Rocky and idolizes him as would watch and listen to him play the violin and attemps to copy the way he does it, hoping to one day follow in his footsteps of becoming a violinist. Whenever he comes to the hidden speakeasy, Lackadaisy, Zib would allow the boy to come up to the stage so he can practice on his violin, which was a gift from his late father, Atlas. The speackeasy is the only place where he could practice playing his violin because he would get nervous about performing in from a large group. At some points, he would be mentored by Rocky as he helps him learn a few skills and teaches him to at least step outside of his comfort zone. Like his father was, James is also an opportunist and very  determined because, despite the struggle of his family's speakeasy to stay open, he wants to fulfill his dream of becoming a violinist, even if it means using any means necessary to achieve it. He is also a very kind-hearted individual who is willing to stand up towards anyone who threatened to harm his family and his friends. Only his family and friends from the Lackadaisy speakeasy know about his passion and support his dream.

Status: Alive

Likes: Playing with his siblings, practicing his violin on the stage of his family's speakeasy, his friends and family, music, learning, discovery, adventure, playing his violin, listening to conversations, Rocky's poetry and violin skills, greeting the gentlemen

Dislikes: Remembering his father's death, the Marigold gang, messing things up, getting smoke blown in his face, Viktor (he's okay with him, but sometimes he gets scared of how intimidating he is), being told that he's not capable of anything, performing in front of others (mostly a large group of people), being held hostage, having a weapon being aimed at him, guns, Mordecai

Origins: James was born along with his sister, Helen, in 1918, growing up alongside his older brothers, Elliot and William. At an early age, he began to have a passion for music when he listened to the jazz band while being introduced to the hidden speackeasy his family owned. In 1926, his father gave him a violin as a gift and he has been practicing and playing it ever since. While learning to play his favorite instrument, he was soon idolized by Rocky Rickaby, due to him having a violin as well. Unfortunately, his happiness didn't last long as his father was mysteriously murdered. With grief in his heart, he once played his violin in front of the self-portrait of his father and his widowed mother was listening to him play, which cheered up his mother and made her happy.
