Im ready to move on

(Amelia's pov)

2 months later

My life has been great I recently moved back to Barcelona and started attending my classes. Although I haven't told anyone I moved back. Not even Pablo nor pedri. But it's not bad to keep things to myself. Right...

But after struggling with money I bought a small apartment just a few blocks away from my university. So the walking distance isn't to bad for me. If I could finish two years early everything will work out perfectly. And thankfully I haven't been spotted by paparazzi. When I was in Madrid they would take pics of me and spread false informations like I was meeting someone else or I looked depressed without Pablo. I hate it because they don't even know the real story.

Also another thing is I heard some news. But not news on me, it was on Pablo. I kept on getting tagged on a post And when I opened it the headline read 'Has Pablo Gavi moved on'. I will say I was invested to find out more and when I found out Pablo had confirmed his relationship with this mystery girl and I was devastated nearly broken. News also said she looked like a rebound version of me. But that's what I heard who knows.

I was going to text him congratulations but didn't have the strength to do it. After the wedding and kiss I thought he would reach out and we'd talk again. I thought we were taking baby steps and going to be on good terms. But I was wrong, he never reached out and even blocked my number a few days after. So I took that as a sign that I don't need a guy to make me happy. Although I do feel lonely...

(Monday 5:30am)

I woke up with my annoying alarm sound playing repeatedly and quickly pressed snooze. I covered my face and groaned not wanting to proceed with this day. I get up and quickly get dressed as I have to catch the bus early every day. I decided to eat an orange for breakfast and head out. I had no time and classes start at 7:50. I threw on my backpack and headed out.

I was 7 minutes from my nearest bus stop and I was about to head over seeing the bus slow down but as soon as I was walking over the bus doors closed and started to drive off. F*ck.

"WAIT" I yelled chasing the bus and yelling like a maniac but they didn't hear me and drove off. I got tired and stopped halfway
"Joder" I said under my breath until I saw an unfamiliar car slow down. As the tinted window rolled down I seen it was Pablo. Omg.
"Pablo" I said nervously
"Amelia por que estas gritando como un loca and why are you here" he says confused
"Well long story but do you think you could do me a favor please by driving me somewhere" I say smiling awkwardly
"Um yeah sure" he says reaching over and opening the door
"Thanks" I say quietly buckling my seatbelt
"So um where to" he ask
"The university" I say waiting for a reaction
"Oh so that's why your here, wait so you've been in Barcelona this whole time" he says faced on the road
"Well I'm yeah I've been here for a whole two months just didn't tell anyone" I say playing with my fingers
"Why didn't you"
"Maybe because I don't want my face on false articles and I guess I have no one to tell"
"You know that not true"
"Yes it is I mean I couldn't tell you I was back since you blocked me" I scoff as he clench's his jaw
"I had my reasons" he says sternly
"Oh please reasons my ass" I roll my eyes
"You know what Amelia I thought we were good to until I found you were-" he says but doesn't finish
"You know what never mind just leave we're here bye" he says pulling into the uni
"Yeah thanks Pablo and by the way your so childish, congrats on the girlfriend the rebounded version of me" I smile slamming his door and walking away.
He rolled down his window and screamed
"F*ck you Amelia really" he screams driving away

He's such a b*tch. And what does me mean until I found out I was what. He's so weird.

(Pablo's pov)

"F*ck you" I scream driving away seeing some the the college kids starting to look

How could she say that knowing dam well I did her a favor for her stupid relationship. After the wedding and kiss I was super happy. I thought we were on the right track and taking "baby steps" like she said. But no she lied. A few days after the kiss I was going to text her until I got a text from a person named nick (had to use the name nick for my love nick in culpa mía 🤭) . I thought it was a fan at first until the nick guy brought up Amelia. Saying this.

You know what I mean you went to the wedding with her and I seen you two kiss which disgusted me so I would stop talking to her if I were you she is in a healthy relationship now so I assume you'd get it right barcas playboy

After that a strange conversation with Amelia's unknown boyfriend I actually noted it and blocked her. That whole time she played me and did it so easily. To think she wanted to take things slow and actually forgive me. I knew she didn't take us seriously so does this mean she was cheating on me when we were in a relationship. I feel so stupid finding out this way but whatever I don't even need her. I have a girlfriend now.

I pulled  up into the training ground and made my way over still mad over the events that just happened. I quickly got dressed and started some exercises alone leaving the team to chatter until Pedri came over.

"Hey hermano me and the boys were thinking of going out tonight you know to the club and you could invite ame-" he said but I cut him off once he said her name
"No I'm good and don't bring her name up please" I responded coldly
"What I thought you two were good what happened" he says stretching next to me so he would get in trouble with Xavi
"Turns out she had a boyfriend" I laugh sarcastically
"But-" pedri try's to say
"Oh and the best thing is that he saw us two kiss at the wedding and told me to back off meaning they were together then but who cares I have a girlfriend now right" I say in one breath leaving Pedri speechless
"I'm sorry hermano really but this makes it the perfect opportunity to face reality that she wasn't the one right you have,what's her name" he pauses
"Anna Pedri her name is Anna how do you still not know" I say annoyed
"My bad I don't really like that much but with all's well you have Anna now" Pedri says whispering the first part making me eye him
"Yeah and I really like her" I say
"That's great now that your ready to move on let's go train before for real before we get scolded by Xavi for talking" he laughs as I agree

Pedris right I'm ready to move on I'm done with Amelia and her sh*t. I have a new girlfriend and I'm doing great this season. Amelia doesn't even know what she lost, her new man probably isn't as half handsome as me. Or athletic or buff I bet. As I laugh with myself I turn to see Pedri giving me a weird look.

"Um are you done laughing with your self" he smiles trying not to burst out laughing
"Oh um my bad just thinking something" I say with an awkward smile
"You sure you not on something" he laughs
"Shut up let's go" I say rolling my eyes
