'Catering to me?'  Kai thought back to Nya, standing there helpless, his sister going ballistic over having to deal with his problems again. She doesn't need to be here, she doesn't have to be dealing with him. She can go back home and forget all about Kai's troubles. His nails dug into his palms, he hadn't even noticed his fist was clenched.

His sister was crying, she was screaming. At him, because of him. This was his fault. The words coming from Nya's mouth wouldn't fully register into his mind. Mixing with the other voices. Only one voice overpowered the others, Scotts.

"You know what we do when a customer goes crazy?" Scotts voice rasped, it sounded too young. Smoking a cigarette still, Scotts eyes were tired and dull, his lips dry and cracked.

There's blood on his Jacket. Gray and red don't look nice together. Kai felt unsure and unsafe. Kai's head feels lighter, why was Scott still struggling to negotiate with the customer—

"What?" Kai asked, his own voice unsure and young. Still fiddling with his own cigarette, still unlit. Nya wouldn't want to smell it on him. Neither would granny, but it would piss Mr. Connor off.

'But she's yelling at me, she's still mad.' Kai bit his lower lip, the taste of iron infiltrated his senses. Not everyone's blood tasted like iron, most tasted like flowers.

"We get rid of them." Scott said, a slight smirk in his face.

Fist clenched, vengestone has never hurt his wrist this bad. Its so cold but the room is getting humid. Water was burning the floor, everyone was yelling at each other. Jay's trying to calm Nya, Zane and Cole can't handle the hot water. Lloylds run out, Morros gone.

What is Kai doing? His legs are moving and his arms are shaking. Jay's only focused on Nya and Kai's moving towards them.

The yelling needs to stop, he'll get caught if he doesn't stop the screaming. And if he gets caught— Kai's not stuck in the monastery, he's not being forcefully rehabilitated.

He's 13 again and he has to get rid of the customer before Mr. Connor hears them. Before Scott finds out, before they get rid of him instead.

Fist raised, it's too small it shouldn't be hitting anyone— Adrenaline pumping through his body as if it were his life line. Scotts still doesn't see him. But that's ok, Scott won't be the one with blood on their hands today.

He fells a sudden swoosh of air hit his core and it burns. Kai's wrists ache.

Blinking away the tears that came from the sudden gush of air, wiping his eyes to stop the stinging. The room is quiet, water is no longer pouring from the faucets. And the custo- no Nya had stopped yelling.

Kai isn't inches away from knocking the shit out of someone, he isn't 13 again. Theres no blood tainting his hands. Kai's wrists however, were still numb from his power being repressed by the cuffs. Kai breathes in, he's not behind a liquor shop.

No, that gust of power was familiar. An old man used it when he went crazy too, Kai took a deep breathe in. He's back in the monastery and he's being rehabilitated. He's here, not there.

"Enough." Master Wu commanded, his voice strong and firm. A little tuft of blonde hair peeping from behind. Sure enough, Lloyd had run out to get his uncle. The same tone, Kai knows what's going to happen.

"Everyone, leave the room. Except Nya."
'Ah, Nya's going to be repairing pipes tomorrow.' Kai thought, he somehow felt safer. Master Wu's here, the situation would be dealt with by the adult.

"But-" Jay attempted to argue, getting only a glare from Master Wu. He filied out with the others. Jay's nervous eyes moving back to Nya's shaking body.
