What It Would Take To Control Peace

"Our potential partners are starting to back out of the deals." Ezeun said on the phone

"Huh?!" Mitchell said as he entered the limousine "Take me somewhere dark and return home." He ordered while untying his necktie

"Yes, sir." The driver said while driving fast

"Steady." Mitchell said as his eyes turned red the car passed into a tree while Mitchell was fading

The car completely passes the trees and Mitchell is no longer in the back of the limousine

Mitchell teleported to the highest building in Makati while the wind blew his hair. His red eyes are glowing as they blend with the light of the city

"Hm. Our ability to sense magic is being blocked."  Mitchell said as he scanned the city "Is this a new shield made out of holy light?" He asks while looking at the city before noticing a presence arriving behind him "I can't enter as well." He said while holding the air in front of him and his arms are repelled

"My lord." Ezeun said as he kneels

"What's going on?" Mitchell asks while looking at Ezeun

"I don't know. I came over to Madaam Ju's place to finalize the deal but when I got there, she screamed at me. I couldn't see if she is being controlled. I apologize" Ezeun said while kneeling

"Madam Ju would never screamed at you. Something is happening but I can't see it." Mitchell said as he stares at Ezeun

"A holy shield?" Ezeun asks while looking at the city

"A rather specific one." Mitchell said as his eye color changes from red to orange and he destroys the shield

The shield immediately regrew and continue blocking Mitchell's vision

"Hm." Mitchell said as he stares at Ezeun before shifting his gaze to the barrier

 
"What is it, My Lord?" Ezeun asks while looking at Mitchell

Mitchell swing his arms in front of him destroying several spikes. He squints his eyes noticing that a magic is cast

Ezeun stares at the spikes with a surprised expression

"How dare them?!" Ezeun said as he stood up

"Calm down. They are setting up traps." Mitchell scan his gaze around them

"Where are they?! I will rip them to shreds!"

"They're remotely firing." Mitchell said as he notices faint presence of magic in the air

"My lord." Ezeun said as he also notices it

"Yeah. They're trying to dilute the air. Possibly for a stronger attack." Mitchell said as extend his arm and position it in front of him before squinting

Ezeun stares at Mitchell and prepares while looking at his surrounding

A massive torrent of light is fired towards Mitchell destroying everything in it's path

"Dissolve." Mitchell ordered and the light faded before it reached the building he is standing

Ezeun's eyes widened as he stares at what Mitchell did

"I'm right. This massive attack would only mean..." Mitchell said as he positioned his hand to the right above his head and holds an arm stopping an attack "This." He continued while smirking

"Huh?!" The attacker said as he stopped mid swing

"You're way too obvious." Mitchell said as he smiles widely while pointing his finger at the man's torso before firing a blast
