Eda backstory

Chapter 7

I'm changing the name of edas daughter, just read it, or don't.

The gang was still shocked from what they had saw, sure it was eda, but they've never seen her like that, considering Luz and Lilith saw eda use her most powerful magic during their fight at the old castle (in agony of a witch) the symbols looked like voodoo magic, Lilith was scanning the notebook for more memories, but remained unsuccessful, raine, Darius , and eberwolf were looking through history books, Liliths request, Luz and king were just sitting there, they wanted to help but Lilith didn't have anything else for them to do, plus Luz seemed to be a bit excited at how powerful eda was.

"Lilith I wanna help!"
"Luz, there's nothing you can do, perhaps you could go back to your studies? Do you have upcoming tests or anything?"
Luz groaned. "Eda ran the university, she's not here right now, Gus is helping out."
"Oh, I see." Lilith didn't really know what else to say.
"Any new memories?"
"No, they all just seem to be experiment entries, and some of them have coffee stains, any thing new Darius?"
Darius shut the book and pushed it across the table. "No, you're the historian, not me."
"Darius, you knew Jacob better than any of us, did he tell you anything or give you anything?"
Darius started thinking. "He actually did, follow me."

Darius grabbed a cloak and the others followed him, they walked for quite a while through the woods, but as they kept going, their surroundings became more quiet and darker than normal branches or trees.
"How much longer?" King complained, Luz was carrying him now.
"Hopefully not much longer buddy."
Lilith looked at Darius. "Darius, how much longer? Do you even know where we are or where we're going?"
"I do, Jacob brought me here once, he said he doubted the emperor could speak to the titan, and said he was doing some research."
Soon they saw a platform in a distance, it was very big and round, it was light blue, looks like it was made out of crystal, they hid behind a few trees, when they saw drawing tools set on the platform and heard someone scribbling on some paper, it was eda.
"Ed-mph!" Luz almost spoke out loud if king hadn't covered her mouth in time, eda turned around from where she was sitting, but she didn't see anyone, so she continued sketching, while everyone watched, raine admired, they watched as she looked at the scenery in front of her, pick up her pencil and scribble, then set it down, then pick it up some more, from the moment they laid eyes on their girlfriend, they wanted to rush up and hug her, kiss her until she couldn't breathe, tell her how much they missed her and wanted her so badly, but when king covered luz's mouth, raine got pulled back to their thoughts.
"Edalyns here, we should talk to her."
Lilith got up, but pulled back down by Darius. "Are you stupid? Did you see what she did to belos in the memory, if we piss her off, she could probably do worse."
"Watch it, that's my sister you're talking about."

Then someone walked over to eda, it was Jacob.
"Ja-mph!"
Now it was Darius's turn to get his mouth covered.
"Hmm?" Jacob turned his head around, but saw no one.
"Hey eda, you done? We need your help with the decorations."
"Why? Isn't everything ready?"
"Well, voy thought it would be fun to set bill on fire with her new potion, but bill freaked and crashed all of the ornaments, the crystal ones too, and I don't really want to go to the market to get more."
"Why not? It's a few minutes away in the forest."
"Cause I just don't, besides, voyance is your kid, you deal with her."
"You're her uncle you know."
"Yeah I-"
Someone started calling Jake.
"I'm gonna pick this up, you get the ornaments."
And then walked away.
"Oh hey, voyance, just another fucking day with voy, hey hey hey, fuck my life."
Eda mumbled as she started putting her stuff away, from the others point of view, eda and Jake were talking, had a fight, and Jake left, but they didn't want to lose their only lead on eda.
"Darius, eberwolf, you two go back, we'll follow eda."
"Fine by me, but if anything goes wrong, here this." Darius handed all of them a earpiece.
"Aladors newest invention, he said we could use this instead of sneaking around with crow phones, or small letters, if you want to call us, we'll be on the other side."

With that Darius and eber left, leaving raine, Lilith, Luz and king, to go follow eda.
They followed her until she came to a cliff, she started walking forward, on air, but the others didn't have time to react, they pulled out their palismen, and started flying, all the way until eda stopped and landed, she drew a symbol in the air, and a portal appeared, she walked through, but the portal started fading, they ran through the portal, but bumped into eda.
"Ow, what the heck-raine?"
Eda stood up, and so did the others.
"What are you guys doing here? How are you here?"
"Eda!" King and Luz ran to eda and hugged her. "Eda, we're so sorry! Cassie was a liar and framed you, we went through your memories, you were part of a rebellion, and have different magic! Please forgive us!"
Eda froze and listened, she took a deep breath and sighed.
"I forgive you, but you need to go, you've never been in other dimensions before."
"I'm gonna pretend you didn't just say that, eda."
Lilith and raine also hugged eda.
"Sister, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have just believed whatever I saw, whoever said seeing is believing is so wrong."
Raine held her chin and kissed her, they were gonna go further, but the kids were there, so they had to hold back.
"Honey, I'm so sorry."
Eda hugged all of them.
"It's fine, I didn't leave because of you guys."
"Well why then?"
Eda looked at them.
"You guys didn't go through all of my memories did you?"
"Well it was your notebook, and my machine was still in the progress of testing."
Eda let go of them, and started walking, of course they followed.
"There's a lot you don't know."
