AHN YOONA was by no means an angel. With a gloomy past and a lack of love, one can only turn out to be a flawed being. Luckily for Yoona, she wanted to be good. She wanted to change, to love, to be kind and she wanted to be remembered as a shining star after her time in this world. However though, one tends to be associated with the people that they keep around. No matter how hard you try, your friends will always be a reflection of you in other's eyes.
GO KYUNGJUN and Ahn Yoona used to be inseparable. Watching each other grow up and holding hands during the toughest times life had cursed them with, it was only a matter of time until the two childhood friends would become highschool lovers. The classic and adored "best friends to lovers" trope one might call it. With time, Kyungjun grew more aggressive, more cold hearted and more reckless — whereas Yoona grew into a kinder empath, slowly noticing a sinister change in the person that she loved. She desperately tried to excuse it and tried to get him back to his senses, but when push came to shove, Ahn Yoona gave up. The girl had accepted their bitter fate and therewith, the end of a love story.
AS THEY SAY, one man's loss is another man's win, and Kim Junhee could not have been more grateful for that. Ahn Yoona and Lee Yoonseo had always been friends, whether they spent a lot of time together or not, at the end of the day it would always be Yoonseo and Yoona against the world. As expexted, that is exactly how Kim Junhee and Ahn Yoona became friends. From merely being class presidents, to forming a pure and beautiful friendship. A friendship that left many balling their fists and spilling tears at the late hours of night.
OPPOSITES MAY ATTRACT but can this apply in a game of life or death? Can two different people with different morals fight hand in hand? Or are two souls who selflessly long for the peace and well being of others a better fit?
