Chapter 2 (Different Universe

I look around the next room and see a lot of lifting equipment I look to the left and notice that ... there are only 2 other people from the past level. I take a deep breath and think 'It's probably best I warm up a bit' I nod after the thought and stretch for a short amount of time. 404 starts talking
"Welcome potential Heroes to the last test...If you all pass you all become heroes...If you all fail the strongest becomes a hero...The rules are simple you all will be fighting Dream you have a wall of weapons (And a making section as well) on the left and on the right you have gym equipment. You have an hour to prepare, Good luck"
I nod and immediately check out the weapons noting that Dreams uses swords. I saw a large stick and grabbed it. Checking out the grip I smile as I just found something perfect. I head over to the potions grabbing a speed potion and finding a seat. I continue to preen my wings. UNTIL I hear Someone walk over I look up at them and see Dream "Sup" I say and he says
"How are you going to beat me with a Stick?" he asks
I smile "A magician never tells his secrets"
I say chuckling a bit and turning back to my wings.

-Time skip-

The time comes its my turn I take a deep breath the other two cheering me on (I was first)...I tie up my hair into a bun and walk into the battle arena. I get into my battle pose (left foot a step in the front, knees bent, wings open and balance large). Dream chuckled
"Oh, this will be easy...I won't go too hard," he said
I shot daggers at him "Go all in"
His eyes widened a bit as my face and body language became unpredictable.
"Just don't Sob after you lose "
his power raised a sword and flung it at me I used the Banton to deflect the sword grabbing it with the opposite hand and throwing it back purposely missing. Dream looked back and chuckled failing to realize that he was distracted as he complained about my aim. I drank the speed potion and quickly swept Dream's legs making him fall. Dream smiled as he kicked me off pinning Me down and chuckling
"You're good at fighting "
he said helping me up I gladly took the help and stood up. I reply
"Thanks" with a smile of course.

-Time skip-

After an hour I noticed, that all three of us passed. My smile became brighter than the light as I shook both of their hands saying
"It's good that I'm not alone".
Grayson replied
"Same who do you think you will get as a mentor?"
Conner popped into the conversation
"I am pretty sure I am getting Dream, He keeps looking at me."
Grayson nodded and looked over at me
" And you?"
he questioned and I replied
"Flame helped me clean my wings so If I have to guess Flame."
While I was saying that I folded my wings.
"And you Grayson?"
I and Conner said at the same time, We both chuckled
"Well I'd Have to say Helder (Punz)"
I nodded and Conners's attention changed as he said
"Oo look~ "
Me and Grayson turned our attention to where Conner's attention was we both gasped in shock as all three of us were knocked down with a hug. 404 and Dream Chuckled at the scene. I didn't focus on the others I was only focused on the husky pinning me down and licking me. All of us laughed as I carefully moved to a sitting position and started to compliment the doggo while petting it...404 began to speak
"Now I will announce who will mentor you three (I am changing my name [ther name] to Cean/Kean) Kean's mentor Is Dream- "
I look at 404 surprised
"-Conner's mentor is Flame-"
Conner nodded
"- And Grayson your mentor is Helder"
As 404 finished Dream walked up to me and helped me up and Grayson punched the air happily I smiled at Grayson and gratefully stood up. Dream ruffled my hair and I chuckled. Then... Dream got a phone call. He answered
" Hello?" the call continued for 2 minutes...Dream was now serious
"Looks like this little person is going on their first mission" I looked shocked.

Dream had explained the plan to me- TO US...I still don't know why I had to be next to Dream but eh.

Timeskip

I stood behind Dream, I was in Hero clothes. I saw the Syndicate coming and is that? The kid ... THE KID I froze a bit, but unfroze when the kid whispered something to Siren. I looked at Dream with uncertainty and his look softened he nodded to me and I nodded back. My body stood in a calm but uncertain way the three villains noticed my uncertainty and they now probably knew our plan. We didn't have back up we were outnumbered. Dream started to speak "Last chance" I looked at him confused but my focus got cut off as I saw Dream reach for his sword. One of the villains speaks up "Never" or was it the child? I didn't have time to look because there was a sword at my neck "U-Uh Dream?" My breath hitched Dream had a sword to my neck "Last chance or I add on Tommy's trauma" My eyes trail off looking at the rooftop I smile lightly looking over to the kid "They will protect you if the villains fail" I say before my attention moves back to Dream "Ya know, If you kill me..you will have 2 kinda popular vigilantes on your back...I saw what you did" A tear rolled down my cheek as I closed my eyes, Cactus's floor dream keeping him in place "There's backup coming to get the kid to safety...Also, that wasn't me please don't hunt me down Thanks" I said in a cheerful tone as I opened up my duck wings and flew to a rooftop where I saw my three friends. After Saluting to Tommy, I sent a crow to make sure he was safe...this is what I wanted to happen but of course, it didn't go that way...

We arrive, and Dream waits for the villains to arrive while the backup is behind a building. I was a bit behind Dream for safety. I start to hear walking and see the top three villains and that kid behind Siren I look at Dream for a moment to see him focused on The kid. I look at Dream concerned, I already feel guilty for being on his side but I look at the rooftops and spot my friends and calm down. Dream and the villains talked I didn't pay attention to the conversation. My focus was on the kid I nodded to him in reassurance and mouth 'Their backup kid, Run' He whispered it to Siren and Siren looked shocked before looking at me. I felt Dream pushing me back a bit, I was surprised but I noticed that the captain appeared The Captain, My heart was pounding. I wasn't brave...Dream gave me a single. I nodded and sent the birdy to them. 'I am sorry ' I mouthed to the kid as the backup came...I was surprised at first to see that Purpled and Blue weren't there but at the same time, I wasn't. I calmed my face down. Captain was on their side. I internally sighed in relief to see that they had backup. The fight started there was blood and screaming. Though I didn't feel anything. I fought until I couldn't, I didn't know Nuke was going to come. I was surprised by the explosion and quickly covered myself in my feathers. They had gotten used to explosions by now. They still burned but I paid no mind to it but before I knew it I was teleported. What? where? I was confused but was knocked out quickly.

The void

Being knocked out is calming, to be honest. I can't feel anything, But pain from the battle with Nuke and Blade and fear for what's to come.Help.HelpHELPHELPHELP
