-1 YEARS LATER-
Hayoon is back in Seoul, warmly welcomed by Jiyeong and Yoora.
"Panda's back! We've missed you so much."
"Why do you look so thin? Are you on a diet?"
"During my time there, I had no appetite to eat without you both."
"Whose idea was it for you to go there, huh?"
Hayoon laughed as she heard Yoora scolding her.
"But Hayoon, do you still remember Jake?"
Hayoon's smile faded after Jiyeong mentioned Jake's name.
"Yeah, I do. My memories of him are still fresh."
"Don't you miss him?"
"Does he even remember me? Even though his memories have returned, it doesn't mean he'll come looking for me."
"We don't know where he is, it's been a year since we heard from him."
"I hope you both will meet again."
Hayoon just smiled and didn't say anything.
"Okay then, see you again, Hayoon! I need to meet my mom today."
"I'm going to see my boyfriend... we'll come again later!"
"Okay, I'm going to the Han River... take care!"
Jiyeong and Yoora have gone home. Hayoon decided to go for a walk.
"Wow, everything looks different. It's been so long since I walked around here."
Hayoon arrived at the Han River.
"The wind here remains the same, even after a year, my memories are still fresh."
"What are you doing now?"
"I miss you, but I believe your life is happier than before."
Suddenly, Hayoon's heart raced, and she held her chest.
"Why do I suddenly feel nervous?"
"I found you."
Hayoon's eyes widened upon hearing a voice that sounded clearly like Jake.
"Why won't you look at me? Have you forgotten about me? Can't you recognize my voice?"
Hayoon quickly turned around, expecting to see Jake. However, when she turned, there was no one behind her and it was all in her imagination.
"What is this? I'm sure I heard Jake's voice."
Hayoon looked around to confirm that she wasn't mistaken. However, she was indeed wrong, it was all just her imagination.
"Have I missed you so much that I'm almost going crazy?"
"I shouldn't come here...The memories we created here is so strong"
Hayoon decided to go for a walk somewhere else. Yoora suddenly called her.
"Hayoon, let's go to the funfair tonight! I heard they're having a party there!! Since it's your birthday tomorrow, let's celebrate tonight."
"Sure! I..."
While she was busy talking with Yoora, she accidentally bumped into someone. Quickly, she picked up the fallen items.
"Sorry, I..."
Hayoon was shocked when she looked up and saw Jake's face. She thought it was just her imagination.
"I... didn't mean to..."
Hayoon avoided looking at the guy. As she tried to leave, the man grabbed her hand.
"Why are you acting like you don't know me, Hayoon?"
"I must be hallucinating again."
"What do you mean? It's me, Jake."
Hayoon quickly looked at the guy's face again, and it was indeed Jake.
"Jake?"
"Yes, it's me."
Hayoon let go of his hand.
"Are you okay? How have you been? Have you fully recovered?"
"I've been waiting for you here for a long time. You told me you would come to visit me, but why did it take a year?"
"Have you met Harin?"
Jake laughed as Hayoon mentioned the nonexistent person.
"Hey, dummy! My memory is fully back."
"So, you really remember me now?"
"Yes, I told you before that even if I lost my memory, I would try to remember my happiness memories."
Hayoon cried after knew that Jake's memory had fully returned. Jake pulled her in his embrance and hugged her tightly.
"I'm sorry for taking so long to recognize you. I'm sorry for leaving you alone... sorry for not fulfilling my promise to give you a tulips flowers."
"I don't care about that, I just want to have you in my life"
"Hayoon, I'm sorry for taking so long to say this, but I feel like I've fallen deeply in love with you..."
Jake released his embrace and touched Hayoon's face.
"Even though it's been a year since we last met, my heart has always been calling your name, and from that, I know that my heart is truly meant for you."
Hayoon smiled, tears still tearing down her cheeks.
"I thought I was the only one who liked you, turns out we both have feelings for each other."
Jake and Hayoon laughed together.
"Do you want to be mine forever, Hayoon?"
"Why not?"
Jake hugged Hayoon and kissed her forehead.
"So, are we officially a couple now?"
"We've become the happiest couple now!"
Jake kissed every inch of Hayoon's face. Cheeks, nose, eyes, and chin without stopping.
"Enough, Jake! People are looking at us..."
"Let them! You're my girlfriend."
"Stop, Jake, it tickles me."
"I have stamped your face. All parts on your face is mine now, remembered that..."
"I will always remember that"
And in the end, they both were happily together. Jake and Hayoon decided to get married next month.
