We play Alabama tomorrow, and Coach has been running us like a mad man.

Last year, Alabama beat us, and apparently their team has gotten even better.

But last year UT also didn't have as great as a Quarter back as they do now.

( Hint I'm the Quarter back now. )

As I walk into the building, Jaxon immediately waves me over and I join him and the rest of the team.

" Hold on, I'm getting a coffee. " I grumble, walking past them to the coffee table.

I notice someone there, then a Texans keychain on their backpack and I huff.

" This is getting out of hand. " I say, grabbing the keychain and inspecting it.

She turns around and glares at me.

" Did I say you can touch my things? "

" Worried I'll dirty your little treasure? "

" What's up with you and obsessing over my like to the Texans? "

" I'm not obsessing. " I grab a cup, pouring the coffee in it before adding my preferred amount of sugar and creamer.

" Yes, you are. That's all we've ever talked about. "

" Fine, let's make a deal then. "

I take a sip of my coffee, turning to her.

She looks at me expectingly.

" We can't talk about eachothers teams. But when they play each other we can, then the person who has the winning team, gets bragging rights for a week. "

She nods slowly, taking it in.

" Deal? " I hold out my hand and she hesitantly takes it, shaking.

" Deal. "

The whole team is cheering and screaming as we enter the locker room after our win against 'Bama.

Coach comes in, a wide smile on his face.

He yells at everyone to settle down, tucking his clipboard under his arm.

" I'm proud of everyone, the new plays did well and I'm impressed you shit heads actually learned 'em. Rest up this weekend, we're back on the field Monday. "

The locker rooms erupts in cheers again as everyone changes and showers, all of us flooding out of the stadium at the same time, reporters and bloggers blocking the entry way.

A reporter is suddenly standing in front of me and I halt, pursing my lips.

" Roman Speth, what do you have to say about today's win? "

Shit, I don't know.

" Because of our new plays and the team coming together more, we played as one on the field instead of multiples like last year when we played Alabama. I feel like everyone on the same page is a huge ordeal when on the field. "
