Forbidden Love

Chapter 1

"We are here," said Sir Reginald Hargreeves to me in a monotonous voice.

I looked out the window at the big house before I got out of the car.

It was in the middle of the night and very cold. Mr Hargreeves opened the doors of the small fence that stood in front of the house.

He kept them open for me and I went through hesitantly. As I stepped closer to the large entrance doors, a nice-looking lady already opened them from the inside and stopped them for me as well.

I nodded to her gratefully and went in. Mr Hargreeves followed me before he pressed my luggage into the lady's hands and ordered her to take me to my room.

"I am Grace.. You are welcome to call me mom" she smiled at me. "And you're Sophia right?"

"Pia.." I murmured quietly. "Pia.." she grinned at me "what a charming name..." I smiled slightly.

"Follow me Pia, I'll lead you to your room." When I followed her up the big stairs to my room, I noticed that the light from the next room was still burning.

I went into my room and nodded again just gratefully while Grace parked my luggage.

"Good night Pia," she said with a smile and left the room.

I couldn't sleep at night. Mr Hargreeves bought me from my parents today. They took the money and sold me as if I had never been worth it.

Maybe I was never worth anything to them either. Maybe it was better that way and I feel better here. I sighed and lay down. Finally, I finally fell asleep.

That night I had bad nightmares. I woke up sweating and breathing heavily.

I decided to take a shower and then try to sleep again.

When I went out of the bathroom after taking a shower, someone suddenly grabbed me and pressed me against the wall.

"WHO ARE YOU?!" He choked me and I hardly got a word out. He looked into my eyes and suddenly I also lost myself in his. His grip became weaker and weaker and I only got "P-Pia..." out of my mouth.

He began to smile slightly and before he could say anything grace came from behind. "Five.. Pia..you should have been sleeping a long time ago." Five looked back "I'm sorry mom"

"Go back to bed," Grace replied and went again. Five looked back to me and noticed that his hand was still on my neck. He quickly pulled them back "I'm sorry." he said completely dissolved.

I had goosebumps everywhere and just stared at him. "Does your throat hurt?" He asked worriedly. I nodded slightly. "Wait here!" He said and teleported away. Confused, I slowly sat down on the stairs next to me.

After a few minutes, he teleported next to me and handed me a tea. He sat down next to me. "That should help." I just nodded again.

He looked at me confused. "Not very talkative?"

I just stared into the void and carefully drank the tea.

He just looked at me for a long time.

"May I ask you something?" He said and I looked at him „Why are you still awake?"

"Nightmare.." I murmured quietly for myself.

"Well.. I will go back to bed...I wish you a good night, Pia.." when he got up, I quickly grabbed his pants

"Mh? What is it?" He asked and I looked up at him desperately.

"Pia.." he sat down next to me again. "You have to talk to me..otherwise I can't help you.."

I gathered all my courage and hesitantly whispered him in the ear. "I'm afraid to sleep in the dark... Especially alone..."

He looked at me. "okay come with me.." he got up and led me to his room where he put a few pillows and blanket on the couch.

"Luther and Allison will kill me..but I have to steal the string of lights from their tent.."

He looked at me and teleported away briefly.

When he came back, he held a string of lights that he quickly attached to the wall with pin needles.

"Good?" He asked and I nodded smiling.

"Good" he turned off the Great Light and layed down in bed. I layed down on the couch and quickly fell asleep again.

The next morning when I woke up...
