The heat rose around me, I tried to move escape from the flames that continued to climb the walls but the rope wrapped around my wrists dug deeper into my skin.
I sat up right in bed, trying to catch my breath. Throwing the thick blankets off my body I welcomed to cool air. My left hand resting on my lower belly. My heavy breathing filling the room.
My rubbed my wrists half expecting there to be rope burns. But there are no burns on my body, from the fire or from the rope.
"Baby, you okay?" My husband asks.
