Rest in peace lily [ Lily's death]

“Mommy, I won the award of most obedience in our class and, and! I also got top 1 in class!” I said to my mother happily as she prepares for work

“That's amazing sweetie, you did a great job, mommy is proud of you” my mama said but she didn't even look at me, as she's hurrying.

“Mommy, maybe as a reward.. Can we go to the amusement park? oh oh and with daddy too?”, “Oh sweetie, you know mommy and daddy are busy at work..”

“But mommy, you two are always busy… what about me?” I said as I crossed my arms and pouted at her as then, my mother caressed my face “Alright alright, we'll take you to the amusement park, however, after your class? Is that alright?” I smiled in excitement as I nodded.

After she dropped me at school,I kept looking at the clock watching it tick and after some hours finally the school was over.

I was waiting for my parents to come pick me up,they promised me that they'll take me to the amusement park as a reward for my hardwork in school, as the school day is over but time passes by, my parents haven't arrived yet.

I'm the only student left, so I waited outside the school. I got bored waiting so I started playing with my bouncing balls.

It sure distracted me at least until two of my balls bounced to the road, I was gonna pick it up immediately.

But I remember what my parents and teachers told me before crossing, look to the right and left.

I saw no cars coming, so I went to the road and picked up the two balls, but while I was picking it up.

I heard a beep sound of a car, as I looked to my right, a fast car was heading towards me, before I could even move, the car already hit me.

Everything went blurry afterwards, I heard a man's voice, saying sorry to me, but they didn't help me.

I saw their faces, but it was very blurry, but I know the person was a middle aged man with a beard.

After he said that, I heard the car start and they drove away, after that, everything went black.

And when I opened my eyes again,I saw my parents crying. I asked them why they're crying but none of them looked at me. I even asked them why they took too long to take me home but no one answered.

At first I thought they're ignoring me, but when I tried to hug them, I went through them and when I did, I saw my body and that's when I realized I became a ghost.

I stayed by my parents' side for a while, until my body was buried. I honestly thought I'll see the stairs of heaven already.

I met a lot of ghosts, and they told me that if I haven't been accepted in heaven or hell, that only means I have ‘unfinished business’ , that means, I have something left to do.

I remember how I died, I feel angry remembering how I died, I did what my parents and teacher told me, but yet I got hit by a car.

Far worse, the driver didn't even help me, he drove away as I died on the road. and so, I wanted revenge.

I want to know who was responsible for my death and make them suffer.. I want them to die too, so they'll meet the same fate as me. I want revenge.. that's the only time I'll be able to rest in peace.

Though, it's been 2 years now and I still haven't found the person that's responsible for my death, so I started to lose hope and just cling on to random people.

Why do I do it? I'm not sure as well, I do know I liked clinging to my parents when I was alive, but seeing how my parents are still sad from my death. I can't bring myself to come back to them.

And then, one day, the person I clung to was mister, and learn afterwards that he can see me.

I told everything to mister, about how I died,what I went through being a ghost and what made me think of getting revenge.

He stayed silent, listening carefully to everything I say, while looking at me with a sad look, like he's pitying me.
