In the shadowy world of espionage and crime, Ji Eun, a skilled undercover spy, is assigned to infiltrate the realm of Lee Jong Suk, a notorious drug mafia leader. Despite Jong Suk's cold demeanor and dedication to his illicit activities, Ji Eun manages to gradually break down his defenses by appearing vulnerable and in need of companionship.

As their relationship deepens over the year, Jong Suk, unbeknownst to him, falls deeply in love with Ji Eun. Her warmth and genuine care manage to thaw the ice around his heart, and he becomes increasingly reliant on her presence.

Unaware of Ji Eun's true mission, Jong Suk proposes, and they decide to get married. Ji Eun struggles with guilt but is determined to complete her mission. Once married, she subtly navigates her way to discover the secrets of Jong Suk's drug operation, all while witnessing the darker aspects of his life.

To her surprise, Ji Eun discovers that Jong Suk is battling a drug addiction himself. Instead of betraying him, she decides to help him overcome his demons. Together, they embark on a journey of recovery, and Jong Suk, grateful for her support, begins to transform into a better version of himself.

However, the inevitable day arrives when Ji Eun's dual life catches up with her, and with her information, the police raid Jong Suk's mansion. He, surprisingly, faces his arrest with acceptance, acknowledging the positive influence Ji Eun has had on him.

As Jong Suk begins his prison sentence, Ji Eun regrets the pain she caused him but is determined to wait for his return. During those five years, she works hard, amassing enough resources to secure a penthouse for their fresh start.

When Jong Suk is released, the reunion is emotional. They return to their new home, ready to embark on a second chance at life together. The couple, now with a shared past of redemption, rebuilds their lives, cherishing the love that survived the storms of deception and crime.
