Epilogue

Christian POV

I woke up early in the morning to see Lauren not in bed. I went downstairs to see her feeding Lucien. He was smiling.

"Mommy when is the baby coming?" He asked

"He or she needs to be here soon. Mommy wants her body back" She said and I came into the kitchen

"Daddy!" Lucien yelled and I ruffled his hair

"Mommy's body looks great right now right?" I asked him

"Yesssss!" He said and I finished helping him eat and he got up and ran to his room.

I went over to Lauren and kissed her on the lips. She moaned against my lips and I smirked. I bent down to kiss her stomach.

"Good morning my loves" I said

"Good morning Daddy." Lauren joked and I raised a brow "That did it for you?"

"A bit" I laughed kissing her neck "We have one more month until I'm getting back what's mine."

"Uhhuh you got me in trouble in the first place." She said

"I'm going to eat you until you scream tonight." I said in her ear. She giggled as I held her close.

"I can't wait." She said

I sat on the chair pulling her into my lap and held her. I just looked at her. I rubbed her stomach and she looked at me.

"What?" She asked looking concerned

"What made you choose me?" I asked "Why me?"

"What are you talking about? I love you. There was no choice" She said

"Why didn't you pick him? You refused to admit it to yourself but I know you loved him too. Why pick me? I'm not a good person. All this time away from the business I've been reflecting on my actions and I can't see what you see in me. I can't see the good." I said

She made me look at her. "I picked you because I saw the good. You treated me a complete stranger the best way possible. You done things, things that I don't have the power to forgive you for, but despite that I love you because I see your heart in the way you love, in the way you look at me, in the way you look at Lucien. You never failed to amaze me sometimes and I loved that about you. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me and although I guess I loved him, my feelings for you only grew stronger. If I could do it all over again 100 times, I would do it all the same exact way."

I kissed her on the lips pulling her into me but the baby bump stood between us.

"I love this child but she needs to make an exit soon." I said and she laughed

"Condoms just might be the solution." She said and I groaned

"What's a few more anyway. More playmates for Lucien" I joked and she laughed

"Let's go put him for a nap." She said getting up and I helped her

"Why?" I asked

"So we can have playtime" She said smirking

"Lucien! Nap time!" I yelled and she laughed

"I love you" She said and I looked at her kissing her on her lips. She was my forever and this was ours.
